- German trash legends Sodom have returned with a new song "1982" and today we checkout Sodom in action and this new song. Fans of Sodom get in those comments below and tell me your opinion of the new song, whe was the first time your heard Sodom?
Sodom is a German thrash metal band from Gelsenkirchen, formed in 1981. They have gone through many lineup changes, leaving bassist/vocalist Tom Angelripper as the only constant member. The band is currently composed of Angelripper, guitarists Frank "Blackfire" Gosdzik and Yorck Segatz, and drummer Toni Merkel.

Sodom have just been delivering uncompromising brutal thrash for the last 40 years. All of their albums are just spot on.

Sodom is Exodus of Europe, much better than the others and still not on the top.
I met Frank and Tom few weeks ago, they were so kind! We talked little bit and of course they signed my Agent O and Ausgebombt LP’s.
I gotta point on Sodom’s drummer Toni, he is the future, young, fast, strict, check his yt Channel - Toni Merkel - even he did cover of Origin’s song and that says all! Everyone who can so is master of this craft!
In the Sign of Evil and Obsessed by Cruelty are legendary and still my favorites.

Well, you wrecked me with riffing on the 80's Top 40 hit One Night in Bangkok....still one of my most-hated songs from that entire decade. At least these guys don't have a song titled Come On Eileen. 😸 This was actually OK for me and I thought it was pretty decent....I feel compelled, though, to rewrite the lyrics to be about my sophomore year of high school and how I was trying not to fail geometry.
I remember Sodom. Destruction was more in my tape deck than them ( even Kreator). I missed out. This song has a Slayer South of Heaven album type vibe. Dug it. ☕️🫖

Hey Shane! I have a more recent band song to request. It's GALE FORCE and their song 'Never Say Goodnight.' I know it's a slower, more sonic rock/metaI style, but I love this song! ua-cam.com/video/Zim458b4DPQ/v-deo.html The lead vocalist is Michael Drive (Lee), formerly of Barren Cross, and this album apparently came out in 2021. They have Tracy G. as one of their guitarists. Thanks for your show, bud! Have a good one!
