Both of those and the King Quad are all great machines and all have their strong points.
i finally have my brute force, have broke it in, and am having the oils changed. the next thing is going to be tires. i mostly do mudding and creaking, whats a good lower priced tire? sorry to ask so many questions but id rather ask you all then someone else
@MrEarthmover The steering is not bad. Most ATVs that have a locker rather than either AWD or a 'limited slip' front diff seem to steer just fine without EPS. The biggest benefit I see to power steering is its stabilizing effect when hitting obstacles - especially when running bigger aftermarket tires.
ATV TV how light is the steering on the Brute Force? Still no Power Steering? & Full of fuel what is balance like? Also do you ever lode the bikes racks up to maximum capacity to see how they ride?
@northernmonkeybutt08 Thanks my friend. We've been in the ATV industry writing for ATV and off road magazines since 1995(!) and started ATV Television in 1999 doing videos. So we've been around a while and that means we've put a few miles on a few different machines!
@SmoothbassmanStudios Must be something in your speakers. Our audio is pretty clean except for the ATV engine sound in the background at times.
@MrShannon888 The 2005 was a completely different model. The Brute Force was totally redesigned in 2008 - lower, more centralized mass, and much better CG. Better all around. Mileage as well.
I mean the stock (bias ply) tires are very rounded across the tread and because they are bias ply they roll over when you turn. A radial ply tire stays flatter on the ground and handles way (and I mean WAY) better.
Go to our website and look through the tire reviews as well as the tech sections and you'll see (and learn) more.
wow you were making video's at 6 16 am! lol love the brute!
I have a 750 brute force 07 model lots and lots of power you can't ride all day with out being worried about gas only flaw I got against it is the left rear end finder get hot where the pipe runs up close to it
What brand ATVs hold up really well? What would you recommend? Outlander 500, renegade 500, grizzly 550, or brute force 750 for best all around machine for all year round and fast trail riding. mud snow....reliablity and performance are what im looking for?
@MrJackle7 The power seems better because it is more 'instantaneous' from the moment you touch the throttle.
@cummcolt Both our top two picks. I personally choose the KQ because I prefer the smoother, better sounding engine, the taller-geared transmission, and the parking brake rather than park position.
Im considering buying a 750 brute force with EFI. I did own a 06' which was carburated. Im under the understanding when they went to EFI they revised the suspension. My question does the new EFI 750's ride better then the older carburated 750's? I found my old 750 rode like a dump cart!!
@treverXJ Way better! I think it was from '08 on they revised a buch of things - engine is smoother and faster with EFI. The suspension is softer and the CG is lower and more mass centralization so the machine is way less tippy. It still really needs radial tires though to make it perfect.....
Brute Force is a solid ATV. Nice review. BTW, You got some serious background noise in your microphone when you recorded the voice-over.
I have been looking at your other videos trying to figure out which atv would benifit me the most and have ruled out the 850xp because of the reliability isssues i have had with past polaris atvs and the exhaust so i was wondering what your opinion would be between the king quad 750 girzzly 700 brute force 750 and outlander 800r xt with the new visco lok most of my riding will be rocks, off camber but with the occasional mud so how would the visco qe do and what owuld your recomendation be.
do you think that kawasaki should make a brute force 850? they are getting behind in engine size unliek canam arcticcat and polaris
@ATVTVCOM King Quad 750 or Grizzly 700 for best year round trail riding? Performance and reliability are the two things im worried about. thank you very much
The video announcer is wrong. The KEBC doesn't "simulate" engine braking. It simply allows engine braking. To say it "simulates" engine braking implies that it's not actually the engine that's doing the braking. This is not true. KEBC simply ensures the drive pulley stays engaged to the belt as it slows, which keeps the drive wheels connected to the engine as it slows.
@sasktank We just got one of those to try. Sounds like a good answer - especially for things like snow plowing...
@rumswigger time zones it may not be 6 am for them
@SoHeavy3 I really like the way the Carlisle ACTs worked on ours.
@ATVTVCOM well, for mudders like me that have ridden a canam800, i loved the horpsepower, 4wd 50foot burnouts, but jeez, i rode a prarie 650 and i LOVED the power it had, and engine braking, but what im getting at, i wouldnt mind a bruteforce with MORe torque and a few more ponies pushin 'er foward, and yea LE's and powersteering would be nice
It would be really nice if they had powersteering though.
@dewey173 Well, by the end of today we'll have our 'First Look' at the new 2012 Brute Force with POWER STEERING!
@cummcolt Our favorites are the Suzuki King Quad 750,700, 500, Yamaha Grizzly 700, 550, and the Brute Force 750
radial tires? what do you mean?
The announcer says that the Brute's transmission is "simple in design", yet it's actually more complicated than several others, such as Yamaha, Suzuki, and Arctic Cat.
The others have a superior design that's simpler because they have a centrifugal clutch to greatly reduce belt wear, and a one-way sprag clutch to provide engine breaking.
Without a centrifugal clutch and one-way sprag clutch, the Kawasaki needs the electronically controlled KEBC to provide engine braking. HOW is that SIMPLE?
@parkerparkerm Probably not. I think a 'good' 750 has all the power a 'normal' person needs. Kawasaki does need power steering though! And I think they also need to make some limited Edition models like Polaris and Arctic Cat, with better tires, winches, and a rear box. I've been trying to get them to do that for years.....
how about it you brute riders during average riding what do you get for mpg?
my grandparents have a 2005 brute force and my uncle has a 2010 polaris sportsman 850xp..and that brute force blows it out the water!!!!
Whats the 750 get for gas milage ? lots of distance between fill-ups in my area.
I'm not real sure.... It's one of those things (like top speed or measured acceleration) that we never really test as it can vary so much depending on how and where you ride. And the BF is one of the machines can really vary depending on whether you are just cruising or 'feeling that power' ;-)
@rumswigger Wow! I wonder what time zone You Tube is in ;-)
Both good machines, but I couldn't live with myself if I had a Grizzly, that thing has a face only a mother could love.
@rc8rsracer lol that was the time on the display in the dash shot, i'm in nb canada, only off by a hour or too lol it was a joke, i'm sorry
@bballplaya123678 They should have had EPS this year!!!!
Brute force or grizzly?
@rumswigger Ah Ahhhhhh..... Now I get it.
@58belvedere Let me see here. I'll look at the title. Yeap, it's a test.
@MegaDriver76 Man, it's as if they LISTEN! Too bad it's just coincidence ;-)
Hey wait! Maybe we think alike!!!!
y is that whenever this guy says sumthing is wrong with a quad, the next model has changed that?
Ride any other atv slow to fast then get on a prairie or a brute and see what you've been missing!
get a sportsman
@monkeydude9790 pure crap
