It gives an insider view to such companies and helps one to take a call in terms of choosing their next move. e.g. it mentions about Linkedin at the top which motivated me while I applied there(last year August) and eventually landed there as a Staff SWE.

compensation and hike % are only parameters which are pulling MS down otherwise Microsoft should have been in top 4 atleast
If you remove compensation as a factor to measure worklife balance, oracle would top the list with full time remote work option and no hard deadlines.
True. Then the list will be quite different. Then SAP labs will also come into picture
Oracle will come agreed except of OCI. In OCI, the wlb has taken a hit with harsh deadlines and a will to create something massive very fast. And then they are paying top bucks as well

Great video... I will just add one or two points to this. Firstly the list is perfect but things might change from team to team. For eg: one of my friends has worked at Abode and the stress he got during that period was insane. If your management is not good any of the perks will not do any good to your life.
That I totally agree. That's why not only my personal experience, a general anecdote has also been taken into consideration for creating the list.

So basically all are American companies… even this work life balance is an American export … no big Indian based Mnc has good work life balance … says a lot about Indian management culture

@@AdityaDahiya99 Only dumbheads go to Infosys, Wipro and TCS. 90% of the job profiles in these companies can be done even by 10th pass with 15 days of training.

Amazon gives you a fulfilling experience in terms of learning and growth. Amazon is known for its fast pace and high velocity. Normally the things you will end up doing in Amazon in one month, you will actually be doing that in most of the other places in 2 to 3 months time. And yeah very nice video

Bro m working as a solution engineer in a pune based company but without a degree even my salary is quite good but now i want to jump in many other good companies which offers a very high package soo is degree required for that purpose?i m a simple bsc holder with less percentage around 58 percent. But my marks in 10 th and 12 th were above 90

I liked this video a lot Soumyajit! Very crisp and concise. I would like to add a point here regarding overall compensation that most people often don't take into consideration (not sure if it's good or bad). Not all companies offer stocks that are of similar value proposition. A 40k$ stock award of Google/Microsoft/Amazon has more value from a long term perspective than 40k$ stock of some other XYZ MNC ( examples chosen are just for the ease of explaining my point). When evaluating the true value proposition of the company stocks awarded, I feel this particular point should be taken into consideration in conjunction with the absolute value of the stocks awarded. Ofcourse I'm not saying it's easy to compute the valuation of a company and its growth prospect, but this should be a point to consider as well to draw the complete picture of the value of the compensation.
That is a very good perspective at looking at things. Rather than just looking at the current value but at the future potential of the companies!
Hence many a time going to a pre ipo start up might make much more sense as well financially speaking

Infact the rationale behind offering stock is that company is investing a portion of your salary in some business ( in this case the same company that you got hired by). Now when it comes to investing in a business, we don't usually invest equal amount of money in different companies right, we'd analyse the fundamentals, try getting some understanding of its growth prospects and accordingly decide the proportion. Following similar rationale, X amount of rupees invested in Y company is not same as X amount of money invested in Z company, and thus the quality of the stocks/ business matters quite a lot.

No. There is a office in Hyderabad. They have only had internal software developer opening that too just a very few. That's why not included in the listm anyways the work life balance is not good in Facebook globally.
