The overtake on the outside round the bend was something, but even more impressive I think is his action as soon as he hits the front and powers up the straight. Its beautiful.
Superb. and charismatic animal. Reminiscent of Secretariat in his ability to catch they eye with searing race winning pace. Shame he never ran the Derby distance but who am I to question the judgment of the late and great Sir Henry? Up with the true immortals.
Cannot believe it is ten years ago this year. Among the contenders, Treasure Beach, another Galileo progeny, like Frankel, would win a classic in Ireland. So close to winning the Epsom Derby but for Pour Moi.
+kenny moore I agree. American Pharoah actually achieved more in terms of distances and never ducking a duel but Frankel just looked awesome in every race. Not his fault connections ducked the Arc.....which he would have won.
I've seen people say "Secretariat, STS etc would have beaten him, well, no, they wouldn't have, because this horse's acceleration would have blown them all away. He goes away like Usain Bolt on fresh legs running close to a WR after he's already run a mile.
"My Goodness he looks a Champion" - Frankel's turn of acceleration from the 5th to the 6th Furlong mark embarked the speed of a thundering 50 mph! There is no horse which could get that speed, forget of keeping that speed up for a time...! Death Defying stuff from Frankel. Where's Black Caviar? She's a mere spectator against him!
Goonerville Gonad , Not knocking Black Caviar in any way because what she accomplished was also pretty amazing, but I think you're pretty spot on with the comment of all known form points to BC being grossly mismatched had she ever ran against Frankel at 6f, 7f, or a mile+.
Why in the name of the small gentleman , did they not train Frankel for all the top mile and a half horse races ? Every trainer would have been bricking it when they saw he was declared for the Arc and the King George and all the Derbies ! It's one of the biggest cock ups in racing history . Starkey losing the 1986 Derby aboard Dancing Brave being the no 1 of all time ...unforgivable !!

Still get goose bumps watching Frankel absolutely the best ever
The change of pace...no comment.
Most visually impressive 2yo performance since Arazi. This was foreshadowing a fantastic 3 and 4yo campaign.

Zafonic in the breeders cu juvenile you will like.

Ridiculous turn on pace on the bend, it takes the breath away seeing Frankel turn it on when he want's to win the race.
Poetry in motion.
that bend was something special
By God he looks like a champion! How true the commentator was

I love how Frankel changes his legs at 1.25 and accelerates all the way to the line. Immediately after seeing this I knew id seen a great...
He looks a champion! What a racehorse...you will never see another!

Who on earth could dislike this video?
Some Sea The Stars fans!
That was the only time I saw himself in the flesh and I still go wowzers today
Magnificent super amazing
Il più forte
You can't compare Black Caviar...different optimum distances.
Black Caviar would give Frankel a nice tow--that's about it. All known form points to it being a mismatch over any trip you like, and I'm an aussie!

+GBeret83 What form points would you be referring too ?? Provide evidence
That move on the outside round the bend is impossible. No horse can do that ...unreal
The most stunning thing I’ve seen in sport
totally awesome horse
By golly 😂😂 he was

What happened?
An absolute rocket.
Awesome
100% better than Pinatubo at the Curragh! Just at the raw power!!! 🤑
7/4 favourite...
No way there's actually a racehorse named slim shady? Sweet!
If that's you're profile pic 6 years ago. I wonder if you have aged well? You look stunning in this pic btw.
Just look at his action Ferrari
In the days when the Royal Lodge was rightly run at Ascot before they allowed the idiots to move it to Newmarket.
Sprinter Sacre?
