I downloaded the mod yesterday and I am enjoying it a lot. Especially the Tiny Titan. It is so much fun the way you re did it, but it also takes time getting used too.
One thing that I found really interesting that you mentioned is that the Spear is similar to Vanilla Flame Runner. I think something you should look into is maintaining top tier vehicles like the Flame runner and Mach bike so that other players picking up the mod can have something to be familiar with that they have already spent years investing into. Something like this is similar to what happened with Project M in 3.02 as having top tier melee characters in the meta like fox made them good and felt great but it also allowed for new stages and mechanics that make the game better, as well fox was not the best of the best and it was the players that put time into characters like Mewtwo and pit that did great. I think the same thing in re balanced would be great to see and would help the mod get more traction as well as provide really good gameplay changes when it comes to tracks and items. The top tiers should stay the same and have the same feel, similar to PM 3.02 fox but buffing everything else is also a great idea and is super huge for the mkwii meta
If you like how the vanilla Flame Runner handles but you don't like long MTs for easier speed preservation, you might wanna try Waluigi or Wario Spear, as those drift closer to how the Flame Runner drifts but Spear has a lot less MT, even with Waluigi.
Spear seems to wheelie at 99.85 if I'm reading at the right time, but we know from Troy's video the honeycoup goes 0.15 akhm faster at its top speed, so the spear isn't the fastest unless I'm being stupid ?
Watch arc's video on the standard kart M, it's a new mechanic he added in called performance transmission but technically the base speed of the kart is lower.
Is this still a mod that is still fun? As long as the balance changes gives the game more fun than the fun that is taken away, I might think about playing it. Otherwise, I'll play Deluxe but this looks great keep it up. Fun Fact: SRB2Kart V2 is planned to change so much that its basically the opposite of a balance mod. They literally are adding a game of chicken at the beginning of each race called Position that boosts players who go off the start line before everyone else but punishes those who go before the buzzer instead of the normal start boost. And boost rings drop around the start area which adds to the chaos.
Do you think it’s possible to add in alternating texture packs for each track in the rii-balance mod? (Kind of like the animal crossing track from mk8 and it having different seasons randomly) P.S - sick mod, you’ve done very well

They increased variety, which can be fun. But fun is subjective; you'll have to try it for yourself to see if you personally find it fun.
