Volkswagen Golf R32 Front & Rear Shock, Strut, & Spring Replacement DIY (2004 VW Mk4 Golf R32)

►The Mk4 Golf R32 features a suspension design closer to the Audi TT than any other Mk4 Golf. However, it still wears out, just like any other suspension system. Because of the unique design, Replacgin the R32's suspension isn't the same as the Mk4s, so we're bringing you the right steps with some easy-to-follow instructions.
You'll be able to hear and feel your struts and shocks beginning to wear out. The car will feel softer and roll more than usual, and the dampers will start to clunk over bumps. Typical service life is around 80,000 miles, but age can also be a factor. Regardless of why they failed, a new set of dampers will fix the issues and provide the perfect excuse to install some suspension upgrades.

I have h&r oe sport springs. I understand the tq spec is 60nm for the locking nut however at what position should the upper spring seat be in comparison to the strut threads before applying proper torque. Thanks
