Su origen de echo es barroco, que posteriormente en Potosí Bolivia tomó esa forma que hoy conocemos como charango, pero su antecesor es la vihuela que ya se tocaba en el periodo barroco.

@@mostdistortion All the chordophones came straight from Europe, we just adapt the instrument to our folklore. There's a very similar instrument in the Canarian islands, it's named timple canario and has a lot of similarities with the charango.
