For all of u haters! There has alwasy been a fight between Norway and Sweden! If it hadn't M.Hellner or Sweden at all he wouldn't be showing of like he did. Btw Hellner stood on 1 ski across the finish line during the sprint! It is and will always be a war between Norway and Sweden (not officially ofc). I agree that he can be childish, however his attitude has improved from where it used to be. Accept that he is the best and stop with the hatred (unless u're a swede ; ) ).

It's surprising that so many people fail to realize that it was an injoke. Hellner and Northug are good friends. The Swedes are just as good at rubbing it in. (I like Swedes, by the way, so I hope Swedes can see Petter's actions for what they are; a joke).

BUT, If you watch the video of the sprint again by this awesome uploader, you can clearly see that Northug doesn't have anything to give when Hellner starts his incredible rush in the hill formerly known as "Hellner bakken" Simply because he was nowhere near his best shape. Exactly like Hellner wasn't yesterday

I think the discussion about who has oil and not is silly. You all should remember that Norway had the biggest shipping fleet in the world and would still have that if we did not have oil. So just stop with the bickering.

The oil fund is called Norway's pension fund, meaning its purpose is making a sustainable future for Norway's pensioners being able to pay their lifecost. Look at Greece and how they tried to follow an ideology similar to Norway's and went bankrupt because of no pension-fund. We could rather take some of the oil money and use it on research in renewable energy.
@helganatt Norway is a very nice country no doubt. But you should not exploit any more oil if you care about the environment. You could live on the oil fund for generations anyway.

@EmmWi That's rubbish - it's just bad attitude and that has nothing to do with nationality. I would consider this very poor sportsmanship even if he won an individual race ahead of two Norwegians. And it's rather atypical of Norwegians I would have thought, but perhaps I have the wrong image in my mind. And no, I am not Swedish.

Helt perfekt för Northug att Angerer gick förbi, de gav honom luftsug upp i backen, väldigt bra taktikt där.
