You’ve mentioned so many great books! I loved the far side comics when I was a teen. I haven’t read anymore a long time. I need to revisit! Thanks for the tag!
Such a fun tag! And some very creative answers! I’m gonna have to really look through my shelves for something to do with Elvis or time travel 😅 Thanks for the shout out!
I hope you like it. Thought provoking book. Not read anything else by Conrad. So many great books to choose from. Currently reading Musashi. I hope you are reading something good.
Strange what books come to mind with the different prompts! Well my mind might just be a little strange. Currently reading Musashi. I hope you are reading something good.
What a fun tag! I’m excited to do this one myself!! I love Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Such a good book. The Big Sleep, Heart of Darkness, and A Technique for Producing Ideas all sound great! I’m adding them to my list of books to pick up.
the thought of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde is such a great conversation (and personality study) about how people behave. Etiquette should change in different surroundings/events, but not personality. LOL I remember reading Far Side cartoons in the newspaper when I was younger. =) Fun video~
Great responses! I knew you would have some wonderful titles. I love how you used Heart of Darkness for time travel. Brilliant! I'm with you on War and Peace. I've read lots of big Russian novels, but never War and Peace. Maybe someday...Enjoyed your responses to this tag. This was a really fun one. Hope you're doing well.
@@ReadingIDEAS.-uz9xk I have read Anna Karenina both in college and in graduate school, and I did really like it, but I’ve never returned to it. It’s been a very long time. I did just recently get a copy of the Michael Katz translation of Dostoyevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, but I haven’t gotten to that yet. That will be a first time read for me. One of these days…😊
Thanks for doing the tag! I love War and Peace but I would always recommend Anna Karenina over it, a perfect novel. The Big Sleep is the only Chandler I've read, I need to get more. Of Mice and Men is a great choice.
Yes, I've heard other people say Anna Karenina is good. Will move it up the tbr list. So many great books to choose from. Currently reading Musashi. I hope you are reading something good.
I've heard of mice and men a lot but haven't gotten around to reading it. Also, wow! some of those books look so lengthy I have to say I was intimidated by the pages
@@ReadingIDEAS.-uz9xk I just DNF'd Under the Whispering Door by T J Klune. I'm thinking of reading Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree or Stardust by Neil Gaiman

Hello, How are you I always watch your videos from your youtube channel Your videos are very nice I can learn a lot by watching your videos I watch all your videos but I see problems in the videos, I checked out your UA-cam channel and found your content very nice and thumbnail construction perfect. But the problem is that you have not SEO your video properly due to which your video is not getting more views. If you do video SEO your video will be on the top of the search list and your audience will increase. I also noticed that your video tag is not using SEO keywords, the title-description-tag is not SEO friendly, and the channel tag is not being used correctly. SEO is (search engine optimization) by doing these things your video will be seen by your UA-cam channel video fans and your friends. If you want I can help you promote your UA-cam channel and videos,
When it comes to a tbr isn't that one's home library of unread books? As I let go of books, some I've owned for 30 years, but not read. Some went off, others like Finnegan's Wake, remained. Maybe one day? I see The Count of Monte Cristo as a resurrection, where Edmund Dante is "brought back from the dead" as an avenging angel. The Heart of Darkness is an enchanting book. There is a strong narrative pace to it, like an undercurrent that begins at a bay and takes you into the deepest regions of the Pacific ocean. It's interesting when I read or see U.S. and Latin American writer essays and interviews, it's rare for an American author to mention Conrad as an influence, but it's commonplace with Latin American writers. Hey, The Farside, haven't seen anyone mention Larsen in years!
