@@XricheeX I can definitely see both. I think this is why I’m going to keep affirming that now is the time to wear WHATEVER you want! Yes there are trendy looks, but I can’t tell you the last person I looked at and thought “they’re out of style” - whether the look has take a lot of effort (or at least comes across that way) or is super simple. I def see what you mean by the “simpler” looks being back in - I think it’s less of an emphasis on accessorizing, but honestly I don’t think that’s ever actually been OUT of style, just maybe not trendy.
my dad bought a metallic windbreaker last year. i wouldn’t say he’s a style icon but who know maybe he’s ahead of the curve.

So I’m a contemporary/ballet dancer and it’s so fun to see our styles finally get adapted into trends. Like when ballet core happened I was like …duh but now seeing long sport shorts and weird layering and it’s sooo contemporary. Should def look to contemporary dancers for style inspo we know how to layer

I’ve heard that because the way fashion is a cycle, the seventies are coming back for 2023, like the bohemian kind of look, that people wore in the 2000’s and 2010’s kind of hippie-ish vibes! So it makes sense, with the fringes becoming trendy as well.

i can imagine that too! also i think i heard in another trend prediction video that boho style could make a comeback, so i think you might be on to something!
i think it will be executed differently than in the 2010s for example, maybe some small elements will be adapted from this period, but i think there will be modern twists to give at a 2023 update, maybe more layering, different silhouettes or something like this and it will take more inspo from the actual 70s with a slight y2k vibe. but not in the way it was actually done in the 2000s and 2010s, i hope it's understandable what i mean lol.
Watching this in December 2023 - it's crazy to see how many of these are accurate
half of this is just 2010s coming back already. not complaining but it's wild to see- i'm 23 i feel way too young to see my middle/high school trends coming back!! the galaxy print feels like a fever dream but indie sleaze and lace will always have my heart. honestly i'm excited these are pretty fun. i'll get a chance to participate in the trends i was a little too young for, and they look more sophisticated this time around. i can't believe im happy to see galaxy print but i like what we're doing with it now, way better than middle school
Hey angels 💛 Sorry for the random use of this as the last episode of the 12 Days of Soozmas, I took the time from Christmas to New Years to be slower at work and prioritise seeing friends and family so unexpectedly my uploading schedule took a hit and a few videos planned that fit the Christmas theme a bit better, got abandoned. Capris are great, I started wearing capri jeans I thrifted last summer and I feel very confident in them, they kinda make me feel like a poly pocket character idk why but the shape of them really gives me that vibe

@@nelym.5887 Since y2k and platforms are major "trends" in everyday wear, I think people will try to branch out and differ from others while maintaining the same taste when they get over platforms; since practically every shoe comes in a platform fashion. Skate shoes give the same silhouette but aren't seen anymore; giving leeway to be more distinctive :-)

I would like to ad that I think tights; colourful, print, textured will be becoming more popular as well as sheer/mesh tops, long skirts; satin, denim, etc and the adidas samba are heating up so “dad” sneakers too and like dainty jewelry, pearls, minimalistic accessories 🥰

Oh god, walking down the street is going to be like travelling in time. It already is! It’s unsettling if you’re over 25 and remember how people dressed in the early 2000. Unsettling.
Honestly it scares me how many people love the fur-coats since the Fur-industry is so horrible. We all should know by now what consequences our fashion choices have.
This is why the industry promotes vintage pieces and sustainability right now more than ever
The best will always be pre existing fur coats or non-fur sustainable alternatives ❤️

it's super interesting to see your predictions of this year. some of these I'm super excited for and want them to come, some of them not so much. we all have our own likes and obviously, I'm not gonna like everything... I have very different style. But kitten heels are absolutely it and off the shoulder tops/dresses are so cute.

Not easy to predict anymore as it is highly eclectic. Only big influences will change the style. It needs to be something to be forgotten, something to be remembered

i feel like so many of these are old news! surprised to see so many repeats and not much new, but also maybe that's a good thing so ppl can wear their trends for longer and not waste clothing
I know what you mean and yea it’s v good how many trends from the latest seasons of 2022 are coming with us this year and still feel fresh, but I also slightly disagree; Tutus have barely been seen, sporty kitten heels are just on the rise, capris haven’t been in the mainstream again yet, big scrunchies, peplem hemlines, bubble hemlines, fake flowers on shoes, galaxy print, fringe, and even indie sleaze hasn’t been seen enough yet outside of runways and into the mainstream

Susieee hey, wondering if you could please help with my Vinted search for boxing boots and sporty heels. What do you suggest I search because I’ve not been finding much.
Keep it super vague! So ‘sport’ or ‘stripe’ or ‘mesh’ and go to the heel section in your sizes and jusr scroll for ages. Same with the boxing boots so I just do ‘boot’ or ‘boxing’ or ‘sport’ or ‘lace up’ in the boot section and see. Searching by brand helps; miss sixty, puma, adidas are ones I’ve seen and also my sporty heels are from Schuch so that could help 🥰 best of luck xx

what searching words do u use on vinted to find the boxing shoes? for some reason I get almost nothing up when I search for it 🥺☆♥︎
‘Boxing’ ‘sport boot’ and categories them to the shoe sections in your size, also ‘lace up boot’ and searching jusr a brand name into the sections as puma, adidas, miss sixty all used to do boxing boots - hope that helps a bit 🥰❤️❤️
