unequivocally the very best version of all the covers of Toto's Africa....singing, staging, lighting, mix, microphone placement, production, enthusiasm, people this is brilliant and inspires anyone and is timeless.....! Bravo!
Have listened to Angel City Chorale's version and Perpetuum Jazzile, and my vote goes to Angel City Chorale! I prefer their male solo singers because not only are they better, but they can sing the very top notes, whereas here it is the women who sing them! Being pitch perfect also helps me make a decision in favor of Angel because some of the singers in Jazzile go off key at the very end of a note, all Angel singers do not! The solo male singers r far better singers, too, and have depth in their voices! I'm not dissing it,. Just saying my preference! Greetings from East Tennessee!

The women sound almost annoying in the very beggining, I can't really put my finger on it. Vocalist goes flat right before the first chorus, the beatboxer isn't all that great, the harmonies sound forced, this is no where near amazing, it's OK. And then this is just my idea, I'm not a music critic.
It's one thing to sing with a myriad in a hall with its' reverb and quite another to do it into a mic. They were amazing, trust me Like others have said. Try it yourself in concert.
