After additional testing after this video. It was found that adding manual data twice CAN give sleep hours logged for both sessions. Why it didn't show in the video when I did 2 manual sessions I'm not sure. It may have something to do with the fact that it's a minimum to add 1.5h each session, or the numbers get "weird" after 12 hours added per day. I've noticed the game does weird manipulations at 12 hours for other data too. Regardless you should NOT add a second manual data under normal circumstances as it doesn't provide normal rewards.
This is really awesome for speeding up a timed evolution! Good info, dude! Unfortunately, I can't use this method without messing with my actual sessions each day, since I usually sleep shortly before the 4am daily reset time, meaning I can't add a manual second session in the same day to hit that 13 hour cap. I'd have to do a manual session earlier in the day, and then sleep normally that night, but I think that would mess with my session and how much Drowsy Power and whatnot I get, yeah?
It absolutely would mess it up. It's definitely got drawbacks. But if you would consider putting your phone or plus+ to sleep earlier than yourself actually going to sleep and/or "end sleep" later you could get more hours in the pokemon. You don't have to push for 13 hours every time. It was just for my testing of limits that I did that. You could do a little less. Maybe 10h for example. Alternatively you might want to start doing 2 tracked sleep sessions a day that can push for more total hours. Then both sessions you get to have drowsy power and sleep research. But you'll have split the drowsy power into the 2 sessions. The upside is you get more candies from 2 sessions than 1.
i had no idea until now that getting a good midpoint score gave you candies......no wonder i'm always short on candies, i can't sleep at the same time to save my life lol
I played around with the language setting set to korean, and for whatever reason, the sleep time shared # is correct. But when I switch back to english, it goes back to the incorrect number.
My videos are as short as they can be to only provide information that you need. In fact I answered the question in the first minute of the video. The problem isn't the video length, but how complex the game is in many aspects that it requires some long form videos to explain. Unlike other channels, I don't even have an "intro screen", or in-video ads. I rarely stray away from the actual topic at hand.
@@BropeningsI appreciate that you are aiming to do that in the best way you can and I don't mean any offence. Trying my best to be constructive, I would watch more of your videos all of the way through if they were more concise. This is not specifically about the video in question. It's only a suggestion, maybe you could have a shorter video for each topic along with another video doing a full length deep dive, where you go into every mechanic involved. Thanks for putting all this content out there
Sleep Time Shared in (English app only) was bugged and has since this video been fixed.

I ‘sleep’ twice a day. How would this work in my case? How can I log that extra bit of sleep?
Really great breakdown at end. Thanks for the tips
You are most welcome

You can get up to 6 candies every end of week if you sleep lots and sleep regular hours
I got a shiny riolu yesterday but I think I'm just gonna be patient, I try not to find the numbers too much
Thank you for the research

Interesting. Well here is my research results to show how it's calculated:

do you still get an extra bonus biscuit if you nap? I did it a few weeks ago but never got 2 biscuits ever. am I doing something wrong?
Only 1 per day and only for the first session.
I WANT TO WATCH YOU EVOLVE IT NOT JUST GO BLAH BLAH BLAH BOUT IT
Haha there are many other videos for my evolutions/catches. This video was only to explain how to get more sleep hours quicker.
Your videos are good, you clearly have tons of knowledge, but they are too long

The game is meant to take time. 😅 we're all going to be bored come winter complaining theres no content because we raced through it all
Lmao
I feel most people are struggling to complete the content due to slow progression rather than progressing too quick and have nothing to do
