3. Take 1/2 step back and begin heal
4. Pro tip- can use same move as cover peak for sniper or other fights

I haven’t started playing Apex as of yet, but I’m starting it soon. And I was asking one of my friends who’s been playing Apex since it was released, who I should use, and she asked me who I liked the look of and I said Caustic. She then told me that if I want to be disruptive and annoying, which I do enjoy in games, to definitely play Caustic. Thanks to this video Macro, I understand him better now and you have just earned yourself a new subscriber 😃.

Have to note that when blocking doors with traps, enemies and Crypto drones can safely trigger traps by standing outside the door, without taking gas damage. If you're holding down a building and you're at full strength, consider putting traps beside doors and around corners instead of blocking doors. That way you're using the traps as alerts that slow them on entry, giving you an advantage to push and kill them. If weak and need to heal and/or defend against multiple squads, that is when to block and lock down doors instead.

finally getting around to playing apex since one of my close friends wants to play ^-^ so now im just here learning the basics of each character so she doesn't have to deal with the trouble of teaching me everything and im not just throwing
Its so helpful to use caustic when your landing in a area were ttheirs a bunch of smaller buildings and you want to camp and not make others run in the room and rush or making a area were you are defending a bit more open or just great cover to move defence to a bit better area
I feel like Caustic needs a unique Gasthrower as his ultimate.
His Noxnades are normal abilities.

Here's an idea. Caustic should have a gas canister, but it starts up waves of gas, taking quarters of the players' health.
I think his ultimate should be like a force field but instead of shielding it’s just a bunch of gas That follows him and when someone gets too close to him the gas will damage them But of course that’s just an idea

I never thought about the different gas colors for you gas vs an opponent's but thats smart, i would like that to be a thing
This was one day before my birthday! feels great.
One more tip: Throughout the match, i leave some gas traps around choke points even if dont know about any enemy teams in the area so that if they trigger them somewhere you can get an idea where a team could be coming from. This works sooooo many times you just have to put the traps into good locations and hide them around corners, boxes, etc. Not only choke points but areas you looted before, just throw some around in places where enemies won't immediately see them. Helped me out a lot of times and saved us from getting ganked from behind and stuff like that

Another pro move that probably hasn’t been mentioned, I call it the healing trap... when low on health and out of cover you want to throw one (or as many as you want) traps down. Once you do shoot them immediately crouch down so you’re covered by it and use big healing items behind them (shield battery or Med kit) by the time the trap is up you can have full shields health or both. The gas keeps the enemy away and if they still shoot or dare go into the gas dance around the trap to avoid them until you heal then pick them off for an easy down
