Nice work, Bill. I enjoyed the view of your development. I use mastershots infrequently even though it is an interesting piece of tech. I enjoyed watching your piece on Master Shots. I thought you provided just enough personal input to set a nice overall tone for the whole thing. Like button was smashed. A few questions if I might... What is being controlled on the front end of the Master Shot setup with the flight route parameters WIDTH, LENGTH and HEIGHT? I noticed those parameters being displayed at the beginning and that you did not adjust any of those parameters. There were repeated system warnings about checking the surroundings and "watch out for surrounding obstacles". We can see that the obstacle avoidance system is on and operational when the Master Shot routes are initiated. Have you ever encountered an obstacle during a Master Shots run and if so what happened, how did the drone compensate? And lastly, when the drone is positioned for the beginning of the Master Shots run (aka the start point), is it safe to assume that the drone will not go below that initially positioned height regardless of the shot being executed? The reason for this question is safety related, if after checking the surroundings and establishing a safe height (to clear any obstacles) it is important to know if the drone will then have a "not go below" height restriction while doing the various Master Shots. My biggest worry would be electrical power lines which may defeat the obstacle avoidance system. Cheers from the Philippines Thanks.
Thank you so much for the great comment. When you start Mastershots you can choose length, width, and height - that means how wide, how far, and how high we will go from the object. we have selected. Have not encountered a obstacle on Mastershots but did on a Waypoint flight. When it encountered it the drone stopped dead in it's tracks. Yes in my experience it does not go below the altitude. I just tried mastershots and it didn't do the roll and fly forward. What am I missing?
