Really enjoy all of your content and everything you do. It's been nice you're make more UA-cam videos. Long time fan just wanted you to know I appreciate everything you do. See 👀 you on the next one ✌️
I cannot get over how friggin cool this truck is looking vs the ride home..😅 its SICK!!!.. You guys definitely live up to your name.. 187 CUSTOMS.. Love it!!❤❤❤
Man watching you guys with the guys around working brings back lots of memories. Difference is if its after 10 am on a Saturday me and my guys would be drinking some cold ones and nothing would get done lmao
I really enjoy watchin yall do these builds.I don't even look at discovery anymore.Id like to see more of the same stuff your filming. Its cool...maybe include some of the ol 405 guys in there like you've done in the past.I liked that...And Phantom go easy on them boys they look up to you ..
Awesome video guys. Shop videos with your buddies are my favorite along with the road trips. Truck is coming along great , can't wait to see Shawn burning some rubber. Congrats on the 250k guys
Anyone watching with headphones I’ve got Shaun in my left ear and phantom in my right ear. Originally I thought my headphone was faulty with how crackled phantom was talking but I think phantom is a bit to close to the mic. Phantom if you see this. Shaun sounds crystal clear with his mic tucked in his cap
Tried 3 pairs and it's the same in all. Not sure how it works but maybe better to combine both channels. The crackling seems to be movement related but not sure cos I'm a moron, that's why I watch these guys 😁
Hey Sean look back in the day I had a 53 Chevy pick up truck deluxe model I have the same chain set up I eliminated the chain I just put a nut and bolt cause I didn’t plan on having my tailgate go down but back in the day so the chain don’t damage the paint on the truck you take a bicycle inner tube and cut it and slip the chain until the tube and that will be protect the bed of the truck and you just wrap electrical tape on the ends that’s how we did it back that truck looks good keep up the good work God bless you and your family
Love all your content. I'm a ford guy waiting on more of the f150 stuf but I thought I'd tell ya something I learned about coyote. Apparently there's a whearwolf version cast iron special alloy that holds all the power.
O gotta tell ya's,, being from the Pacific NW (Seattle) seeing all those crystal blue skies and bright Oklahoma sunshine looks AWESOME!! Spring is spring'n in OK!
I know it might not be the look y'all are going for, but there is clear plastic tubes that you can get for those chains. Slides over the chain to protect everything and flexible enough to still let the chain bend. Down side is over time they crack and have to be replaced. Up side is they about a couple bucks a foot!
All coming together nice guys looks badass. Loving all these videos that r dropping. Oh btw i see shawn finally getting his other tattoo sleeve going looks good.
DUDE Shawn & Phantom, YOU GUYS are sooo funny 🤣. You both made my day! I love it when the three old friends (Monkey 🐒) get together. Always a fun and cool time for everyone when Shawn & Phantom are involved. Comedy just comes naturally to you both. Great video guys. Thanks 👍.
Much love and respect for you and your family. Me my twin bro and dad love watching you. You build the coolest looking cars and trucks ever. Hope all is well with you and your family god bless and keep it up man.
Lots ■ body ❤ happening! I notice 🐒 has been around the shop alot lately. Are we going to be seeing him more in your videos? Keep up all yhe great content! 🔦🏁💰🤑🇺🇸
I think yall should bring the burnout truck to Cordova dragway this June. I got myself the ROCKSTAR VIP pack for that event... so I wanna meet yall this time. @187customs
Hey Sean on your tailgate chain the old school way to do it is to take a rubber tubing and slide the pain in their and then you have your safety and it'll bop around on that thing all day long no problem I'm sure you've got rubber hose from like the radiator or something if not an old garden hose works then just paint it white
My 86 k10 stepside has that same nose that Aiden was wrenching on. I took it off 89 k5 I was using for parts. I took the power window doors and the air conditioning from the k5 an installed them on my stepside. Had to redo the firewall though to make the air condition box work though..
Shawn don't worry about the small gapes etc . In a burn out comp if you tap the wall small gapes are nothing .Just ask farm truck what it's like to tap a wall and how much damage it does .. summernats
I still think yall should collab with cleetus mcfarland more. id love to see videos of you helping them dial in suspension. Them have you guys do burnouts at the shows.
I ain't gonna lie.... love when Monkey and the rest of the fellas are in the house... always entertaining
Totally agree. However it’s hard to accomplish things bc we get sidetracked easily 😂
Hands down my favourite type of video. Breaking balls with the boys.
The best one yet fellas, nonpressured productive fun with friends. Love the laughter
Phantom...mic sounds like he is talking under water😂
Yep. Still figuring them out.
@@187Customs Mic audio setting too high and overdriven as a result.
@@187Customs Just put it on your hat. I’m hearing beard scratchin in my ear lol
Audio limiter has its tongue hangin out
@@187CustomsPhantom if you do discord I have a channel full of audio engineers I can hook you up with.
Keep pumping them out, best channel on UA-cam

Phantom, thank you for making sure that the closed captions are always on.
Going to miss the shop videos when NPK starts, but that’s where a lot of us get to meet y’all
On those Tailgate chains my dad Always used bicycle tire tube to slide the chains through to keep from scratching Truck.
I cannot get over how friggin cool this truck is looking vs the ride home..😅 its SICK!!!.. You guys definitely live up to your name.. 187 CUSTOMS.. Love it!!❤❤❤

Love this build series. These are my favorite vids from this channel by far.
Man watching you guys with the guys around working brings back lots of memories. Difference is if its after 10 am on a Saturday me and my guys would be drinking some cold ones and nothing would get done lmao
U can put wire loom on those chains so it doesn’t mess the paint up
Probably one of the best videos yall have done
I really enjoy watchin yall do these builds.I don't even look at discovery anymore.Id like to see more of the same stuff your filming. Its cool...maybe include some of the ol 405 guys in there like you've done in the past.I liked that...And Phantom go easy on them boys they look up to you ..

Lol @ the major league references...classic movie
You can always count on us for good movie quotes 😂
I know that equipment and man power is costly but I'd love to see more videos with Shaun and Phantom working on projects together.
Always my pleasure to watch your videos !.
Early Bird special 🤘Right on...!🤙
👊🏼 appreciate you
Y'all could put white vinyl decal material on the painted surface under the chains to help.
Big boxes 30 sec in…we all hope it’s smaller when we try them out.
Gotta bring it to a cleetus and cars event bro
Looking forward to seeing this stepside when it’s finished, keep up the great work guys.
Shawn cracks me up, ive opened some big boxes in my day 😂. Me to man
I could hang with you guys for real. You guys rock! Brings back memories wrenching on cars and busting balls.
Thanks man!

I just read this as Shawn asked if he should powder coat the bumper. Psssst psssst
THE BURNOUT TRUCK IS GOING TO BE EPIC
The fact you guys are like 20 min from me yet im watching this on UA-cam makes me laugh. Videos keep getting better guys.
It’s always fun when you guys get a group together. You guys are always laughing about something. Guy needs to laugh at times.
Coming along nicely, ready to see y’all getting slide ways !
The Major League II references! Going to miss these shop builds. Too funny!
More to come!
250k subscribers! Congrats
Thanks Tim!
Just get some big heat shrink to put over the tailgate chains and then you won’t have to worry about them anymore.
Y’all are outta control with the shit talk! Luv it

Casper has come back from the dead and he's got nothing but hard times and bubblegum and he's fresh out of bubblegum 😮
this will be the best and actually driven burnout trucks. Seeing😍 that sexy 55 sitting there out in the sun
@187customs the old step side chains had a clear rubber plastic on the chain, to protect the paint on the bed .
All coming together nice guys looks badass. Loving all these videos that r dropping. Oh btw i see shawn finally getting his other tattoo sleeve going looks good.
On my old truck tailgate I put a bicycle tube over the chain just like the old days
I keep waiting to hear Phantom say "10-4 Good Buddy" or "Hey Good buddy, there is a Kojak with a Kodak"
The truck is looking awesome can't wait for the first burnouts
looking good fellas .Getter done ...love from OHIO...

Thanks for the laugh mate. That's cute. Cheers.
Can’t wait to see that truck in action!! Great job with everything guys keep it up! 🔥
Great video. Lots of laughs
They make billet latches that look super clean and get rid of the chains. Just don't get the cheapest ones.
She’s coming together

I hope that square body gaps the ford truck lol. Nice job this thing is shaping up!
Only thing missing in this video is a pile of bikes out front and someone’s dad cussing love it
Use a bicycle tube as a sleeve over the chains to protect the paint.
They make a&n fittings for the roll over valves will help fuel flow for the smoke show
" Dad what do you want me to do with your 30 yr experience" Had me dead lol.
My 86 k10 stepside has that same nose that Aiden was wrenching on. I took it off 89 k5 I was using for parts. I took the power window doors and the air conditioning from the k5 an installed them on my stepside. Had to redo the firewall though to make the air condition box work though..
Looks awesome great job 👏
Do the old school seatbelt latch trick on the tail gate .
What would it be like to say just send it to a $2150 fuel tank. Dang. Freakin awesome.
Ahh thursday its almost as good as tuesday
The guy who sold Shawn this truck probably had dreams of building something this cool with it
Shawn looks like he got some new ink!!
I worked at the GM truck plant as cheat and light weight as the frames are I would be putting that cross brace back in.
Love this channel thanks fellas
I really want to save this til after i wake up later but i might have to just watch it twice or something.
Twice for sure. Just to make sure you didn’t miss anything! 🙃
It’s going to be nasty
Phantom is sounding like an ol 6x9 that needs replaced. lol
Well let's see this beaut it's definitely nice for a burnout truck
I likw the title of the video man i usually measure once and cut 4 or 5 times
Phantom owes head to the editor... the this is what we are waiting on then speaking of and the video ends PRICELESS
I am the editor. I’m not that flexible
^ 😂
Gotta whip a couple ribs outa there.
Can't wait for the next one
Y’all missed a step Shawn on the bed! It has rubber mounts the bed sits on! That’s what keeps itt from rattling!
Nah man I don’t think so lol
Shawn don't worry about the small gapes etc .
