I never fail to learn more from your videos! In this one, my "AH HA!" moment was when you talked about adding some fresh tube paint to the palette next to the dried paint when you wanted the most pigment in the mix. I have always been of the mindset of either fresh paint or dried paint. Your process explanations are always so helpful! Thank you!
@@LouiseDeMasi Nice name. I figured I would get the sex wrong. Lol. I bet he is mischievous. And he probably wants to get into all of your paint things and play. 😉
Louise, this leaf study is so beautiful! I continue to be amazed at how effective the limited palette is in these paintings! I enjoy your single subjects! They are so simple, powerful, straight forward…and beautiful! Thank you for sharing this lovely study with us. ♥️👏🏻
Ah!! That's exactly what I've been waiting for, a simple study, to get me back into painting, thanks a million Louise, will watch later with a cup of tea 😉
That yellow glaze just made the whole thing come together. Loved that part. I am always so impatient to get to the third layer and watching you helps me remember that the cherries on top are the shadows and warming glazes… your patience at building the underpainting reminds me to do that same…. There is an enormous stack of acorns and leaves waiting to be painted in my studio….thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Louise, there is save soil movement going on, It will be nice if you can do one painting for this topic for the farmers and future of our kids. Thank you 🙏🏽#savesoil
I love the container your tubes are in!!
that shadow works perfectly!
