    Another great video and another easy repair on the Element! When I replaced the radiator I unbolted the fans and left them in and pulled out the radiator by itself. Just takes a little wiggling but the opening is too narrow to pull it out fans and all.

      Thats correct to some extent all of the elements I have done have wiring also attached to the condenser fan shroud. also most videos on material or repairs do not show at the end if the repairactually is correcting the problem!!

    Hey Pattay's! Thanks for this awesome video. I was inspired and wanted to change out my own fan but ran into a couple issues after acquiring all the materials in your video. Can you please assist?
    1) I have a 2006 Element so do you have any idea if this is applicable to your video since it is a different year?
    2) I crawled underneath to remove the hose from that clip as instructed but the entire front section is covered in plastic paneling. Did you already have this removed prior to starting your video? It is quite tight under there and difficult for me to access all the plastic bolts to remove them, and they seem to be all inter-connected (2-3 different panels). I tried to slip my hand down to remove the clip from the top but i cannot fully reach it to remove and tried multiple tools to finagle it out but was unsuccessful so I cannot move forward. Currently my vehicle is sitting in driveway with the top panel removed and I have everything I need to move forward but cannot access the clip.
    3) Did you disconnect anything else before you started the video? Battery or otherwise?
    4) those plastic bolts underneath are already is weird condition probably from being taken out so many times previously and I am missing some. Do you have the link to the bolts and the name of that tool that you used to remove them? I got the top ones out with just the flat head screwdriver but the ones underneath are more stubborn and already stripped a bit, I might want to just replace with new ones....
    Thanks in advance!! Looking forward to finishing this project.
    Update** I ordered the clips on amazon and it came with the tool to remove them lol 🙂

      1) Yes it will be the same
      2) Mine was already removed due to me having larger tires. The larger tires were rubbing against the plastic trim piece. You need patience or a special/simple tool. Same process to get the top ones on the cowling as well as the bottom ones. They are plastic and coming up on almost 20 years old. So if they break don’t be upset, they are cheap and easy to replace.
      3) there is no need to disconnect the battery but if you want to feel safe by all means go ahead and do it.
      4) you purchased the same kit I was going to link you too! AWESOME
      5) my apologies for the delay in response…are you on Instagram? Can always send me pics and videos

    great performance but what was the EXTRA loud noise after the fan was installed. were the blades hitting the plastic shroud?

      I jumped the fan using a small battery. It wouldn’t spin.

  • @anthonylopez3116

    how can you check the relay for the ac fan i jumped my fan did not spin went to the yard ans jumped another one did not spin either 😫

    • @pattayperformance
      @pattayperformance  2 роки тому

      Fan relay should be the same as others like the horn. Swap relays around…
      If you jumped the fans using a power source and they didn’t spin, buy new fans

    I surprised that the engine temp did not show any problems .

    • @pattayperformance
      @pattayperformance  4 роки тому +1

      Chris's small engines,
      Excellent question/comment. There is already a dedicated fan for the cooling of the engine. Honda has a split/dual fan system. One for cooling and one for ac...
      With the AC fan working you should experience colder AC temps at idle/stop/around town driving.
