Stronga FlowDrya & Heatex | Woodchip Drying Systems

Stronga recently installed woodchip drying technology for our client in Ayrshire, Scotland. Technology installed includes FlowDrya FD30, Heatex H600 and dry output conveying systems.
Our client is a growing woodchip fuel supplier in Scotland who is looking to expand his bio fuel supply business using FlowDrya and Heatex to efficiently dry woodchip.
The site is conveniently located near Galloway Forest Park - the biggest forest in Britain. Wood fuel is harvested from our client’s forestry land. Wood is then chipped on site directly into the internally located FlowDrya module.

Minimising labour and automating the whole process was an important aspect of this woodchip drying project. Dry output cross-conveyors and raising augers automatically discharge dry woodchip into storage for equalisation of varying sized woodchip.
