The instructions were pretty straightforward until it came time to put the piece on with the tape. I peeled it halfway like the video, and I couldn’t get the screw holes to line up. And then it ended up and stuck to the lid and wouldn’t pull off ended up tearing the tape, I would say only peel an inch or two of the tape. Now I have to order some because none of the automotive stores around me have any in stock. Fortunately, my ace hardware store right around the corner had the 3M automotive tape. It’s not the VHB but it seems to be the same. My suggestion is to only pole out about 2 to 3 inches which is what we did and it went on with no problem !
