    The Pataudi Palace is a grand ancestral property owned by Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan. Also known as Ibrahim Kothi, The Pataudi Palace was built by the last ruling Nawab of Pataudi, Iftikhar Ali Khan for his begum. He wanted his wife to live in a grand house as she was the Begum of Bhopal and had a royal upbringing. That’s why in 1972, the 8th Nawab of Pataudi asked Robert Tor Russell to design the Pataudi Palace as colonial-era mansions of Imperial Delhi.
    According to Architectural Digest, the Pataudi Palace spread across 10 acres, has approximately 150 rooms, including seven dressing rooms, seven bedrooms and seven billiard rooms.
    From 2005 to 2014, it was the Neemrana hotel before it was repossessed by Saif Ali Khan in 2014. Saif Ali Khan's father Tiger Pataudi spent his childhood in the palace.
    After being home to two generations of the Nawabs of Pataudi, cricketers Iftikhar Ali Khan and Mansur Ali Khan, the actress Sharmila Tagore entered the Pataudi Palace. Today, the Pataudi Palace is known as the home of two generations of Bollywood stars, including Sharmila and her children Soha and Saif Ali Khan.
    Did you know that Hollywood actress Julia Roberts' film "Eat Pray Love" was shot at the Pataudi Palace? Also, Bollywood films like "Mangal Pandey", "Veer Zara", "Gandhi: My father" and "Mere Brother ki Dulhan" also used the grand Pataudi Palace as a shooting location?
    Pataudi Palace's estimated cost is Rs 800 crore (Indian Currency).
