Is this a stereo speaker? In horizontal mode how is the sound projected with those 2 tweeters in the same position? Is it conected 1 tweeter and 1 woofer for each channel?
Please check how NFC works. NFC is not used instead of BT, it is just used to transmit initial data needed for BT pairing. After pairing, devices are connected via BT. NFC is anyway too slow to trasmit high quality audio data. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Near-field_communication. Good review otherwise.
Is it possible to make it more sand/dust resistant If I Plug Up All The Ports In the back Other then the charging port cuz I don't see myself ever using those... Or there are more holes around the speaker?
@@gregkuhh7259 it is very loud outdoors. But the main flaw I found was that the battery life doesn't last very long. Which is probably the same on JBL partybox. However it is also NOT waterproof, so if it starts to rain. You've gotta cover it quick, whereas the JBL partybox 310 has a bigger battery and is waterproof so might be better for you. It also has a handle and wheels so it's easier to carry and take places

When you were playing the Sony GTK-XB60, what percentage were you playing it at? Thanks
I play them all at full
@@HammoTechReviews ok, thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately I have no idea
How does it compare to the JBL Partybox 110?
Not as good quality. Mainly because Sony use paper drivers for the speakers. Where as jbl use plastic. Lasts longer and can produce more bass
Is this speaker compatible with a Sony gtkxb5
I would hope so
Why do you mention NFC as an input? What can you do with NFC other than pair a phone for BT connection?
If you enable NFC, you can touch your phone on top of the speaker and it will connect using NFC instead of Bluetooth

That’s what I meant, lol
is the sound loud ?
It's pretty good yes

I would just buy a jbl party box. Much easier than plugging up holes
is the sony gtk xb60 portable or does it have to be plugged into mains to work?
Lewis Duthie it is portable. But bear in mind the battery lasts 5 hours and it’s 8kg
EchoX1 ok thanks
EchoX1 would you say it’s overall a good speaker?
Lewis Duthie yes personally I love it. It depends what you want it for I guess
EchoX1 do u know if it is better than jbl party box 100? That’s the 2 I’m choosing between
Is it worth it?
Yes. It's cheap compared to JBL equivalent
@@HammoTechReviews i am the type of guy that wants a good outdoor speaker, is it loud for outdoors? Or should i go for the jbl partybox 100.

Can you connect the speaker to a TV
Yes. Not sure why you would 🤣 but you can

If your TV doesn't connect to Bluetooth then I guess not. But it should have an aux port in the back maybe for wiring in? Can't remember tbh
@@HammoTechReviews yes ok I guess I’ll try the aux port. Thanks.
Watt rms ?
I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find it. But it sounds like maybe 40 watts to me
@@HammoTechReviews better than boombox ?
The jbl one? Definitely not. Not even close
