The buttons sticking is a common problem, I just cut out the top of the button to expose the micro switches below. Then it works like a breeze every time. Great sounding speaker, but the constantly flashing lights are a real pain to keep switching off every time the unit is switched on.
I fixed my button issue by opening up the speaker and sanding down the inside of where buttons stay, sun will cause the frame to shrink and I left mine outside by accident and noticed it (:
I have one it got wet and it never held chrge anymore it had to be plugged in to work , would it be the battery or something the top board it connects to
Thank you so much I have my for about 3 years now. It's still very reliable super clean sound. But accidentally dropped it now it wont charge. But it has dropped numerous times and it took 3 years of hard abuse for finally to crack but it's not broken just replacement of a piece. But overall best freaking speaker very durable I highly recommend for any one.
Good to see that your buttons also stick down. I've had this speaker for 2 years now and therefore qualified to pitch in with my evaluation and recommendations to keep it working. First, the stupid lights which default to Rave Mode instead of OFF. Fine if you party every day. but a real bummer when you have to navigate your way through several levels of button functions to switch them off. Also, if you live somewhere where power cuts are frequent, then the lights automatically start flashing when the power comes back on, annoying to say the least if the speaker is working plugged in overnight playing ambient sleep music. Now for the absurd switches on the top of the box. These fit so snugly the least amount of dirt or grit will cause them to stick down, rendering the unit useless, prying out the grit, even with a needle is difficult. The solution, CUT OUT THE BUTTONS. Drastic I know, but it allows you to access the tiny little micro switches that are positioned right on the edge of the buttons, you will need something like a toothpick to activate the button, but the instant response is very satisfying after the multiple presses necessary with the original button covers. That said, it was only the great sound that this speaker delivers that saved it from being retired with a couple of blows from my sledge hammer.
I know Im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
@Kayson Clyde I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Hope you can help. But my cracked by the bass and volume buttons so neither of those 3 work but it turns on and plays. But when I put to charge you can clearly smell burn and see smoke?? Any idea
glad i watched this video before wasting over £100 on a battery, notice when he plugs the battery in the orange light flashes to say it is trying to charge even with no mains plugged in. mine is doing that now with the old battery in, so what i did was remove the battery and get a cheap lipo rc charger and charge the battery to 14.4v (full) place it back in the speaker and now it charges perfectly, i still get between 12-13 hours from a charge but now the speakers sees it as a fully working battery again. so happy i didnt waste my money on a new battery just because i let it get below 20% battery life left (press and hold the 'STAMINA' button to find out your percentage left :) hope this helps someone

I guess a good fix is to get inside and just cut the wires to the lights
