Remember to check the description for an extensive list of sources if you'd like even more information than just that found within the video. It took quite a while to compile them while searching for the most poisonous animals considering the lack of lists of "poisonous" animals that only contained poisonous animals. Also, apologies for pronouncing "striated surgeonfish" incorrectly. My mind mixed up the "i" and the "a" within "striated" so I pronounced it like the "ai" in "rain" without thinking. Additionally, we don't have a patreon or something similar if you'd like to support us further as we don't feel comfortable asking for money when we aren't very consistent with uploads, but we did think of a small way to benefit us and our viewers if you'd like to get small amounts of Bitcoin. If you'd like to support us further and make a small amount of Bitcoin while doing so, you can follow the link here: goo.gl/qpn5mc (I do believe google marks it as possibly unsafe for some people, though we're not aware of why. It seems to depend on where you live.) Also, *be sure that you don't sign up more than one account per IP address or you'll be IP banned.* As a disclaimer we are not affiliated with Freebitcoin or promoting them for pay, we've simply used the site for around 2 years now and have made a few dollars as the price of Bitcoin has gone up even with the small amounts we've received whenever we remembered to roll. Freebitcoin has been around for a few years now and acts as a faucet that gives you Bitcoin for free when you roll for BTC with a chance to do so every hour. You can roll anywhere from $0.002 - $200 worth of Bitcoin (given in satoshis which changes with the price of Bitcoin). You essentially have a 1 in 10,000 chance of rolling $200 worth of bitcoin and will most commonly roll just $0.002 worth of BTC, so understand that - barring incredible luck - you'll only end up with small amounts of BTC at a time. If you sign up via the link, in addition to the BTC you receive from the roll, you'll also receive 25% of everything you rolled added to your account every week as we receive 50% of whatever you roll and return 50% of that to you. This means that if you somehow managed to roll $200 worth of BTC, you'd receive an additional $50 sometime Sunday/Monday as the week ends. For further reference, a satoshi is 0.00000001 BTC. Furthermore, if you hold at least 30,000 satoshi in your account, an annual interest rate of 4.08% compounds each day to give you more BTC, however, we must recommend that you don't hold more BTC on the site than you are willing to lose. It's true that the site has been around for years and is mostly trusted, but it's always smart to be cautious. If you don't want to continue holding your BTC on Freebitcoin, you can look up how to transfer it to an exchange or something like Coinbase, though I believe the minimal BTC you must hold to withdraw it is 30,000 satoshi. If signing up through the link, 25% of the interest rate you accumulate is also given to us, which yes, does also count in the 50% back we mentioned earlier, so you'll receive an addition 12.5% in interest as well given with all other referral returns at the end of each week. Remember that Freebitcoin makes the majority of its money from the gambling you can also do on the site. We also receive small commissions from gambling (0.25%), though we don't really recommend gambling as you'll most likely just lose whatever small amounts (or rarely large) amounts of BTC you've accumulated after rolling. If you don't think you'll remember to roll again after an hour often and don't plan on accumulating or transferring BTC from the site, you could simply gamble it if you'd like, though again, it's best to remember that you are more likely to lose than win when gambling. There are also rewards points/lottery cards given for rolling that give you additional ways or chances of getting BTC, though this probably won't be relevant to most. Thank you for watching our videos and also for supporting us further if you do sign up with the link, we really appreciate all the comments and views we've received over the past two years.
Just wondering why it's LD50 - lethal dose 50% I don't really get it. Why isn't it LD100 can you please explain a little more on what this actually means? I'm sure many people understand perfectly but honestly I can't figure it out. Thanks!
What he didn't mention is that surgeon fish are called that because their fins are sharp as scalpels. You wouldn't want to pick it up to unhook it if you caught one while fishing...

Hey everyone! (This is posted by the J Fish) Alright, first things first, we have to apologize for this video taking so long after the venomous animals list. The usual excuse is real life stuff for the A Fish and I had us put this on the back burner for a bit. There was also the problem of researching this list. Actually, this was the main problem. When I thought up doing this list, I assumed it wouldn't be so bad and figured we could just do the research others didn't in their lists by actually giving good sources. However, I just didn't understand how bad things really were. It legitimately took over a week to finalize the research alone as there was no starting point I could find to go off of. In all seriousness, please try finding a list of just poisonous animals using the search engine of your choice. After countless hours looking, I think it's possible that no one has ever made a top 10 list, let alone 15, of the most poisonous animals on earth. ALL of the lists I found, whether on UA-cam or even obscure forums had lists with 2-3 poisonous animals followed by 7-8 venomous ones. Perhaps somewhere out there someone actually put together a list, but my Google-fu skills weren't enough to find anything. It was a nightmare. After thinking it over and almost simply abandoning this video, the A Fish and I decided to do it and perhaps be the first to do it right. I say perhaps because I'm sure a toxicologist out there somewhere HAS to have made up a list and just never posted it online. Or at least I hope so. In any case, queue the most intensive research I've completed since I was in university once we decided to do it. It legitimately took over a week to do the research, and I had to learn a few new methods of searching with Google in order to find what I needed. There simply weren't enough academic papers that weren't locked behind paywalls to compile everything we needed. If it weren't for Google's book preview function... I don't know what I would have done. All in all, through my research I collected about 100 sources, though around 40 of those were just general information about toxins and animal poison I happened to find interesting. I feel the utmost pity for toxicologists and the pain they must go through when trying to do actual research. I can't imagine collecting 50 sources for a single research paper dealing with any poisonous animal, let alone 5. They aren't paid enough. Once I finally managed to finish the research and complete the list, followed by 3 days or so of trying to recollect all of the spaghetti that fell out of my brain, putting together the video went really smoothly. I dare say it was even fun! Once again, apologies for taking so long with this video. We felt like you guys deserved an explanation after all that you've put up with from us. We can't thank you enough for watching our videos and commenting about what you enjoyed or even what you hated. It'll probably been about 2-3 weeks before we get our next video ready for release I'm sad to say, but I don't think we'll have a subject as deceptively difficult as the one in this video for a long time. Also, apologies for what feels like the blog post no one asked for. TL;DR: Sincerest apologies. Doing the research for this video was ridiculous. We'll be back in a couple of weeks! nemo do you want this anemone to sting you, yes fucking brush AND HE FUCKING EXPLODES that shit got me good lmfao You and TierZoo are the best channels on youtube. You both throw in actual memes in your shit, never change, please for the love of god never change.
The way it works in the wild is, if it's bright and colourful then the chances are it's poisonous because most small animals want to remain hidden and not be noticed whereas if they advertise themselves then they're normally dangerous "poisonous" so avoid animals that are bright and colourful.
If it bites you and you die, it’s venomous. If you bite it and you die, it’s poisonous. If it bites itself and you die, it’s voodoo. If it bites me and someone else dies, that’s correlation not causation. If we bite each other and no one dies, it’s just kinky. I love that dumb meme. I appreciate the time you took to find a bunch of venomous cool animals! Off the top of my head, I just think of toads and poison dart frogs. It’s interesting to realize that’s there’s not that many, or they’re at least dwarfed by the amount of venomous organisms.
Ok, so... Like Monster Bug Wars, you should hire a crew to accumulate all 15 of the creatures in your venomous video, all 15 of the creatures in this (poisonous) video and put them in an arena to battle to the death.
2:10 Can I just point out that the lizard featured in the part where snakes, lizards and crocodiles can die from consuming cane toad poison is a Komodo dragon that doesn't live in Australia
@@skandisjvel1147 at No. 15 on the list they're talking about Cane Toads. At 2 minutes and 8 seconds into the video, the narrator says that snakes, lizards and crocodiles have died from eating cane toad poison. While that happens, some images are shown of a snake, a lizard and a crocodile. The snake is a red-bellied black snake and the crocodile is a saltwater crocodile, which are both native to Australia. I see people eating pufferfish all the time but the person who cuts the fish up needs to be a pretty skilled fish to cut the right pieces of liver. Not great evidence cause it’s from a show. Pitohui. Cool name, comes from the bird's own calls, or so I've read. They also can be eaten, but only if killed, skinned, and cooked in charcoal to burn residual poison out. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

It's "few and far in between" but great video! ...as usual. There's a reason I subscribed.
Well said explaining poison and venom

You did really well on this and I would have subbed if you had not had the earbleeding and obxious noises added.
Great vid! Had to subscribe.

nemo do you want this anemone to sting you, yes fucking brush AND HE FUCKING EXPLODES that shit got me good lmfao
You and TierZoo are the best channels on youtube. You both throw in actual memes in your shit, never change, please for the love of god never change.
Most interesting! Thanks for sharing!
Darn just love seeing the little cuttlefish so cute
10:33 there's some messed up stuff in nature but this takes the cake
nice video! i like how you post sources, seems legit :D eheh ty. keep going
I always thought of it as venomous, they eat you- poisonous, you eat them. Aha
Yes but don't eat them
oh thank god a channel that understands the difference between poisonous and venomous.(i hate it when people get the two mixed up)
Ok, so... Like Monster Bug Wars, you should hire a crew to accumulate all 15 of the creatures in your venomous video, all 15 of the creatures in this (poisonous) video and put them in an arena to battle to the death.
Can Rove Beetle's venom be used in medicine then? if it stops cells ability to divide could it help stop cancers in cells as well?
I just love the sarcasm. It was a triple dog dare sooo he had to.

Can I just point out that the lizard featured in the part where snakes, lizards and crocodiles can die from consuming cane toad poison is a Komodo dragon that doesn't live in Australia
I've read your comment like five time now, and I cannot understand what the Kentucky fried chicken you're trying to say
However, the image of the lizard is a Komodo dragon, which lives in Indonesia.
Poisonous = He Protec
Venomous = He Attac
But most importantly..........
He has a Venom Sac
Fuck off
Yeah.... fuck off.....
Thank you for explaining LD50. So many others just say 'lethal dose', which tellss you very little.
Thanks!
This was such an awesome video.
And yet nothing online lists anything higher than Golden Dart Frog.
And literally EVERY poisonous animal list is mostly venomous animals 🤦🏼♂️
Love the BattleToads at 2:15
you're argument is a grand help to toxicologyst's everywhere im tired of hearing ill die from EATING my tarantulas cause they are venomous not poisonous
who'd eat a hairy ugly spider anyways?
@@tuxedosteve1904 ahhh yes, now I remember a program which showed oriental people feasting on skewers full of winged insects...
@@tuxedosteve1904 I think Chinese people eat less bugs than other South Asian countries.
They're considered a delicacy in Cambodia, along with scorpions
Spiders have enuff meat!
"We do not recommend searching for this in google image"

Oh Duo Fish how I've missed you
Flamboyant cuttlefish is hamster sized... so... smaller than a nickel? What?
Flamboyant cuttlefish start off as tiny versions of adult cuttlefish, which are hamster-sized.
+Duo Fish what about those blood thirsty devils mosquito
Duo Fish malaria is delivered by mosquitoes
Phoenix Love not to mention malaria is a parasite and isn't poisonous
Rose: how do you know it’s a Spanish fly?

It wasn't mentioned that dogs in Queensland Australia have found that the toxins found on the Cane Toads skin gives them a high and have been observed frequently licking Cane Toad backs.😂
Finally a difference between venomous and poisonous...
Triple dog dares only go into effect if you’re drunk
The way Nemo blew up in the video had me CRRRRRYYYIN BOI😂😂😂
When you tell me to not look up pictures, it makes me look up the pictures.
Murderface: *spitting* everyday i only eat fugu prepared by a drunk chef with cerebral palsy just to have a chance at a metal death!

my comment is favorited by the creator, what an honor!
OH SHIT.. number is found around the coast of the uk.. thank u for the info mate n thanks for the upload. just subscribed ;-]
Thank you 😁
I was always told the more beautiful and colorful the creature is, the more deadly it is. After watching this Ill stand by that theory.
I see people eating pufferfish all the time but the person who cuts the fish up needs to be a pretty skilled fish to cut the right pieces of liver.
Not great evidence cause it’s from a show. But a woman died because the poisonous food was placed on her body and she died just from touching it. Yikes. The show was CSI:NY.
Covid 19 quarantine has me watching !
One of the best way to remember the difference between venomous and poison is
Venomous = it bites you, you get sick
Poison = you bite it you get sick.

Pitohui. Cool name, comes from the bird's own calls, or so I've read.
They also can be eaten, but only if killed, skinned, and cooked in charcoal to burn residual poison out. Sounds like more trouble than it's worth.
I like how you use game clips for reference that souls game tho 😂😂
Very well done, I commend you. 👍🐠🦀
Thank you
13:17 Why do so many people say "anenome" when it is spelled "anemone"? I suppose it is meant to be pronounced the way it is spelled (m before n)?
Mike Collins , This is called “Metataxis” in linguistics. A common example is when “Asked” is pronounced “Axed.” Being dyslexic, I understand the problem.
Fascinating video! Thanks for the education! My cat would thank you. Cain toads are not to be be fucked with!
I came in contact with number 14 before. It was hidden in a bale of hay. Just the brief contact on my arm resulted in a nasty blistered rash.
