Solid shooting boys. Excited to see you guys do it in person and hand off a patch eventually! Is Justin running a 10 yard zero?
And my only caveat is if you’re trying to pass any drill, don’t just run it multiple times over. Figure out what the deficiencies are during the cold standard, and use that to shape your range session. Opposed to running the Cold Standard a dozen times to eventually pass it once kind of thing.
Shooting in sub 15* is wild. I think coldest weather I’ve ran this in is like 35* MAYBE. Good stuff guys

A suggestion to improve your time to first shot on the draw: when your hand is going to the gun while it's in the poster, you rock your body, moving your shoulders and head to your left. Once you start drawing the gun out of the holster, you shift your head and body and tilt your head to the right. Ideally, if you can keep your eyes static in space without any additional effort, you will find your dot or sites sooner and allow you to press off an accurate shot sooner. The more movement you can eliminate, the cleaner your draw will be and the faster your draw will be without any additional effort.

You want me to eliminate movement while actively telling me to add more movement to the draw stroke?

@@OreGear I'm sorry, I see now what I wrote wasn't clear. The first part is my observation of movement in your draw stroke. The second part is my suggestion. I observe movement on your draw, I'm suggesting you try to eliminate it. Specifically if you can keep your eyes static in space.

Cold start is the only true measure of competency. No one gets " warm ups " on the street or at 03:00.

That's the boat I was in that day, it'll be interesting to see those times go down as I get back into a more regular range schedule 😂
