Seriously, this is the very definition of "lightning in a bottle." I feel fortunate I was able to share the same space as these guys for a while, hear these songs being written, and play shows together. Thanks for uploading obscure music as well, it's great to keep art alive 🤘
Whoa. Sick to see this here. I am an original member of Endwell, wrote a lot of parts on this EP, and I'm the singer (not screamer). Sick to see the support from the comments! Thanks!
I'm glad you didn't mind me posting this. Honestly this is one of my favorite albums ever, and it's a shame more people can't find it. I wanted to change that if I could. 😁
Also I'm not sure if you realize, but I was one of the guitarists in Hulk Blood, another "lost -to-time" EP you can find on my channel. 😉 It's nice to see your comment, hope you're doing well!
Thanks so much for posting. Got this EP from the band as they were standing outside of a From Autumn to Ashes show in New York City back in 03’-04’ and lost it years ago
Yeah, HI sounds a bit too pristine and perfect right? I like when there's a little grit to a recording. This sounds more like they did in the rehearsal studio.
Really glad I could help ya out on this one! This is exactly why I upload some of this "lost-to-time" music. Enjoy, my friend! Big love from the states \m/
Hey, if Homeland Insecurity is important to you and helped you through some formative years, then by all means, please don't let others tell you how to feel about it. Metallica's Load and Reload are 2 of the most important albums in my life, and if I listen to others, they're garbage, but they're important to me. If I were to guess however, Homeland Insecurity might not be liked as much because the band went through a major lineup change and 2 (or 3?) of the original band members weren't there any longer. For me, personally, playing shows with these guys and sharing close spaces with them, anything past "The Missing Pieces" didn't feel like "Endwell" to me any longer.
@@ThatPunkYT Oh no way! I loved listening to this album but it sounds u finished? I really liked HI and have recently started listening to em again. Wait, is Victory somehow responsible for this?
Glad to hear it, don't let anyone tell you what to like or dislike. Nah Victory had nothing to do with this, this was independently created, which is probably why it's so hard to find. I feel like it used to be on Spotify and then got taken down. The new label doesn't want their new band making money off old stuff type of thing. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am lol.
@@rickyiglesias5384 yup exactly. I probably have a few more deep cuts like this in my collection. I'll keep uploading what I can! I am missing the instrumental track from this album, if I ever come across I'll update this too 🤙
@@ThatPunkYT I try to do the same, but I usually don't have anything that someone else hasn't already uploaded. Except for small, local bands. So I do those.
I can't find my copy of homeland right now, did Sean start vox on that album? I never knew it was a different vocalist on this EP. I just bought a copy on ebay for 44.99 cause I know it's rare as hell
Yeah Sean started with them on that album, not long after the van-crash incident. Chris was their vocalist on this EP and that's actually how I know them best. Also, this EP features Al on drums and not Mike Kaabe. Hope you enjoyed the EP upload, this shit is hard to find nowadays lol.
I knew that sometime after this that the frontman, bassist, & drummer left - beginning a long series of lineup changes this band has had - but I did not know about this van flip incident…
All the songs on this EP are so good, this absolutely destroys homeland insecurity IMO

My pleasure! I have a lot of nostalgia for this album as well, and I got tired of it not existing online lol. Glad you enjoyed the listen!
Missing Pieces and Homeland Insecurity are my fav. After they are almost unlistenable. I miss this days
10:03 🖤 What a song
It's one of my favorite albums of all time for a reason. Glad you could enjoy it again! 🤘
@@ThatPunkYT I use to listen the music still with ipod and... its hard left out those albums.
@@mxpx1989 I have some unfindable stuff on my iPod too. I have to dig that up some time lol.
Been searching forever for this version of Drowning!

@ThatPunkYT I definitely prefer these tracks over the ones on Homeland Insecurity

Can someone more versed in Endwelllore summarize what we don’t like Homeland Insec? It was really important to me during some formative years.

Yeah same here. I should make a playlist of all that stuff one day on here. Forgotten-about music being the theme of course.
