You are forever my hero for saving that bird. Thank you. I have been regularly watching the GettysburgLiveCam birdfeeder while I read. They have a regular visitor called Blitzen, a three-legged deer. She lost her leg in a car /deer accident. She does just fine. Keeps up with the rest of the deer herd. She's had 3 sets of fawns, each year since then. Unfortunately, she hasn't been seen since May. We're all looking for her. So they do survive without a leg.
Cliff, it takes a special kind of human to have the compassion to help an injured animal. You could teach a lot of people to be better humans. It makes me proud to be a subscriber to your channel. I hope all your students get to see what you did. THAT would be the ultimate life lesson that you can’t necessarily teach in a classroom or a book.
that bird knew you where there to help him. he was patient and did not move when you got the string off of him. good thing you decided to go there that day. he will remember you. he might pay you a visit next time you go there. good job Cliff. Thank you for being the person you are.
Oh thank you for finding and helping that bird. You are a natural born hero! People please collect your fishing line! I quit fishing 10 yrs ago and now I clean creeks instead!
Great video, love all that birdsong. What a beautiful place to go. So pleased you saved the bird. It will adjust to having one leg, so pleased you saved it. That’s a gorgeous area. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
Wonderful filming. You’re a swell guy, Cliff. I hope you took as much of the fishing line as you could. This experience will be an interesting story for your students.
I double-checked on the bird ID with the Merlin app. I thought it might be an Orchard Oriole. But the app said Baltimore, Congratulations! You indeed have a male Baltimore Oriole! They’re so beautiful! Great video!
I love the sound of the water slapping. Those flowers were beautiful. I love to see the herons too. That was so kind of you to save the one that was caught. That place looks so peaceful That place looks so peaceful. I hope someday I can see it in person. I especially liked the trail back through the jungle. I'm sure the mosquitoes were horrendous there. I really love this video a lot. Safe travels as alway❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello cliff great video I love the birds and the flowers thank you so much for saving that bird you did all you could do now he has a chance to live on if he was still caught he wouldn't have much of a chance🦤🦢🦆🕊 take care love from upstate New York❤😊
That looks like a rose bush that was popular back in my great-grandmother's day. I don't know what variety, but it's very easy to manage. It grows easily by runners, but it also doesn't spread too prolifically. We've grown plants off the original bush and sent them around to family and friends for their gardens.
The Foot was necrotic and was bound to fall off, but the poor bird may have starved to death of it couldn't catch food from being bound. Thanks for saving him Cliff. There was a reason why you did not go hiking aside from the heat. Hope you brought the fishing line back in with you though!
I hope you get this note that I am sending you I know you already done a thing about Martin's Mill Bridge but I wanted to let you know about the celebration they plan to do next Friday and Saturday They are doing a 175 year anniversary about the Bridge They are going to open the Bridge to drive over it Plus hand out books about the history
That was an oriole you saw. I started putting out grape jelly the last two years. I start in late April. I have had at least two nests each year since then of orioles. I don't know why they come here. I'm told they like to nest in willows and there are some behind me here. At the beginning I put an orange out also. I think it helps attract them. They think it's another oriole. They really don't like oranges though contrary to popular belief. I have hummingbirds also and both of these birds get along pretty well. I think Audobon should start donating to me to buy grape jelly though.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR SAVING THE BIRD!!!!!!
Love the birds.
Good job rescuing the Bird ! Glad he didn't bite your finger off. ( " No good deed goes unpunished." 😂 👊 )

nice canoe 🛶 trip.
Great video, great save! U the best!
Those roses, I believe, are called 7 sisters, at least, that's what my one neighbor calls them because they bloom in clusters of 7.
Really great video
I could fall asleep in that kayak it sounded so relaxing. ❤❤
He's a good person sorry for the bird
awesome bird save!
And greens
Nice, peaceful video. If I go back through it, I could probably come up with a pretty big bird list. Morning song on hot days can be really busy.

Aw poor bird
I hate how people leave garbage and fishing line around. If they don't think about it shouldn't be fishing
Fishing line is horrible
