Although its super annoying when we get a parking ticket... If we could park anywhere we want, the roads would be in chaos. There does need to be rules, and they must be enforced. In japan you are not allowed to park your car on the street, even outside your own house. We should follow that
@@stuartb4525 In Japan they have car parks and drive ways. Lets face it, many people have drive ways in England, but they still park their cars on the street for convenience.
@@stuartb4525 I said many people have drive ways. I didn't say most. In fact 1/3 of homes have drive ways in the UK. Back to the topic, parking rules are not tyrannical. @@kevgray. that was an attempt at writing in phonetics. While we're on the subject, did you know that some people want to revert to the phonetic alphabet as a way of teaching children to read and write? I think it makes sense. So, instead of the usual "ay bee see dee ee ef jee" we teach "ah buh cuh duh eh fuh guh" which is more intuitive. "Ah" becomes "ay" if it precedes a consonant followed by an "eh". "Suh" and "huh" makes "shuh" etc etc.
The bloke in the car has a few valid points. No attempt was made to ascertain if there was a reason that he was parked in that manner, he could have been suffering a medical episode and had to stop at that place. It appears that no action was taken against the G4S van that was parked on the footpath and which entered the carriageway on the pedestrian crossing. No action was taken against the driver of the van that stopped prior to the crossing, which had more potential to cause danger than a vehicle stopped after the crossing. The smirk on the face of the enforcement officer in blue indicated his contempt, and it appeared that he knew that Councils need to raise a percentage of revenue from parking enforcement. He could have easily gone up the vehicle and made sure that the driver was not requiring assistance, and then asked him to move forward. If he had then refused it would be a different matter.
Jesus I never in my life thought I would ever side with a traffic warden, but here I am siding with a traffic warden. Now looking up in the sky for flying pigs while simultaneously pinching myself in case I’m asleep!
I've only ever had 1 encounter with a traffic warden (I don't park illegally). I went to pick up my child from some event she had in the city centre one night and used a car park that I hadn't been to in a long while. It had always been free parking after a certain time in the evening, so I parked up, went to collect her and returned to my car. As I arrived a traffic warden was in the process of writing me a ticket. I enquired what it was for as the car park was free at night. He explained that this had not been the case for a while and directed my attention to the sign which did indeed now say you had to pay even at night. Seeing that my mistake was genuine (and possibly swayed by the cuteness of my little girl I had in tow?) he wavered the fine and let me on my way. He did in return ask that I concede not all traffic wardens are mean/evil and should the occasion ever arise, I tell people thusly. So, props to that fellow and I am therefore honour bound to point out: Not all traffic wardens are bad, they are just doing their job.
There shouldn't be a zigzag as there's no requirement for it on that side of the road because it's a one way street. There is no traffic merging from the right so your view cannot be obstructed. The zigzag should only apply to those on the other use of the road.

As well as being able to understand our driving laws and our laws in general they should know and understand basically the basics of the language we use. The gentleman in question he’s English was quite good he’s probably lived in the uk for a while but still not as good as AB tho it’s as if AB has lived here his entire life as he’s clearly taken the time to understand British laws and public rights even made ppl aware of things we were unaware off that the public can and cannot do taking the time to teach others what he’s learned. That is the way it should be before you move to a country you should learn the local language and laws etc as well as respect for its laws and people.
@@roadrunner3672 The warden could have asked him to move instead of hiding and slapping on a ticket. I suppose we learn the local language when the Brits infest Spain, Cyprus, and Portugal LOL yeah, right ....
@@Assyrian I meant it’s the way things should be it’s ideal when you move to another country easier to communicate(not everyone dose). I’m not defending the warden but yes he could have asked him to move but the guy should have had enough sense himself to move the car forward he is behind the wheel of the car so is responsible to make sure he pulls up properly the warden gave him enough time to correct himself. The warden said as much he does the same thing most of the time and that day he got caught obstructing traffic I’m pretty sure they shouldn’t have to tell people continuously to move their cars properly into a loading bay.
AB please don't offer to pay tickets for people with this attitude, you can tell he's a regular offender and tbf that parking was dangerous for the people crossing. You do some amazing things and you know how much good you could do with £35 where it would be appreciated. This guy would just park like a tw@ again and at best see the next as a free ticket or at worst get someone injured or killed. Respect!
I agree with the last part of what you said, but lets be honest, he offered to pay to come across as a hero.
😂😂😂 there traffic lights right there hows it dangerous
The warden needs a cuppa and a 15 min break after this. He is doing his job ,simple.😊
I couldn't be a traffic warden, dealing with situations like this everyday lol.
Not a fan of traffic wardens, but far too many individuals think they can park like an idiot! So well deserved ticket
Parked on the zigzag markings is an instant ticket as you said. Staying in your car makes no difference.
Parked yes, but stopping no.
Borat needs to learn that its expensive living in UK. An English traffic warden is as rare as snow in the Sahara.

He deserved the ticket no question
Scrounging ponce he was.
You take the risk and sometimes you get caught out. I was particularly impressed with the professionalism and attitude of the TW with the hi viz bib.
I agree. The young man in the Yellow Hi-Viz was exceptional, in all aspects. Well done !

Them who?
Sitting for 5 minutes with the handbrake on is 'Parked'.
The traffic warden should also have ticketed the van on the pavement in fairness
It's a year late, but the secure cash vans have a certain degree of exemption as they have to and are allowed to park as close to the machine, bank or establishment they are filling or lifting fromas humanely possible without being dangerous.
This is due to what they are carrying (cash rules all after all!)
Parked means that a vehicle is standing still, whether it is occupied or not, for a short space of time and not for the purpose of loading or unloading goods or picking up or dropping off passengers.....The traffic wardens were in the right. Its an obstruction of the highway (and the Pedestrian crossing in this case). However the other cars parking on the same spot should have been issued as well. Well done AB
I'll have to remember that next time I "park" at a red traffic light.
Sorry, but you are incorrect. Parked means you have left the vehicle. If you stop and are sat in the vehicle, it's classed as waiting.
@@ukinvasion2012 yeah and you can't wait on zig zag lines, it's there to tell you not to obstruct that area.
Exactly!!! Doesnt matter if he was parked or not or the definition of what parking is.
The idiot stopped/waited on zig zags, so not only did he deserve the ticket and had no argument, he also made himself a national fool now AB has published his stupidity
So I can just reverse and go forward constantly whilst waiting to pickup someone, Technically I'm not parked right?
I don’t like traffic wardens but. I’m on the side of this one. , The traffic warden is in the right. Good job AB.
Extremely patient wardens
Very close to comedy. “I’m not parking!” x 100 while he stands outside his parked car.
Book him, he's probably a G4S security guard straight from the dinghy.
To be honest, I'm far more concerned about a large vehicle reversing along a pavement than that guy being marginally on zig zags
Yep a joke they can do what they want
I agree.
Plus the 🤡 had room to park off the zig-zags if he knew how to steer properly.
Although its super annoying when we get a parking ticket...
If we could park anywhere we want, the roads would be in chaos. There does need to be rules, and they must be enforced.
In japan you are not allowed to park your car on the street, even outside your own house. We should follow that
If we couldn't park outside our homes, where do you suggest we park the car?
@@stuartb4525 In Japan they have car parks and drive ways.
Lets face it, many people have drive ways in England, but they still park their cars on the street for convenience.
@@hiyorisarugaki1830 Most people certainly don't have driveways in the UK.
@@stuartb4525 I said many people have drive ways.
I didn't say most.
In fact 1/3 of homes have drive ways in the UK.
Back to the topic, parking rules are not tyrannical. They are rules formed naturally for the need to have free flowing highways and not cause congestion.
They are not rules that step over our rights, they are rules that enforce our rights.
no parking, double yellows and zig zags....You can't stop on zig zags for starters. He has no argument.
Exactly, 3 points for that ! He can still get it base on this video as a proof.
traffic warden gave him 5 minutes leeway as well, what a tool this guy is!
Whilst the g4s van is parked on the pavement which is also an offence contrary to reg 103 of the road vehicles regs 1986 but he didn't ticket it.
Unfortunately the legislation states the in London you 'cannot' and outside of London you 'should not' which is why it can't be enforced outside of London. Plus cash in transit have some funny rules about where they can park
Decent guys doing their job!
Wrong, criminals, committing crimes.
Guy was clearly in the wrong, but I couldn’t help but like him. So animated 😂
Far too many parking restrictions in towns and city's it's become an industry and it shouldn't be. Then leaders of council's wonder why everything is closing down 🙄.
£35?! thats how much pay and display in london is for the day so he might as well just pay that🤣🤣🤣
Of course he deserves a ticket.
Imagine if this man, actually had a point, he would talk everyone to death!
Imagine if they understood his broken English, they couldve responded to his thoughts.
'They'll give you 3 points'
Jokes on you, no way he has a licence.
So the working man gets a ticket and the corporate vans doing the exact same thing get a pass. He has a point.
I always drive my car while stationary! I do the vroom sound with my mouth.
Great job AB 👍🌟 You covered both sides of the story with such honour and a fair manner. A fine ambassador for Asgard…)
It’s not rocket science why he got that “ Penality” ticket, to me it’s clear and straightforward the warden did his job perfectly 👋🏽
For heavens sake he doesn’t give up does he! It’s exhausting just watching and listening to him. For some reason he thinks the ticket can just be cancelled and won’t have it that he was in the wrong. Take it to court and incur more costs 😂
I’m 20 minutes in and he’s still on the zigzag
Another problem the council created by narrowing the road unnecessarily, or for profiteering.
You can wait on double lines if you are loading or unloading, however you cannot park on zig zag lines at anytime. By the look of the cars position it looked like he just couldn't be bothered to park correctly...
I would also advise him to read the Highway Code available in different languages no doubt
Ee wazza nat parking. Ee wazza nat parking. etc 😁
@@uberbeast113 ok good luck with the rest of your English lessons
@@kevgray. that was an attempt at writing in phonetics.
The traffic warden was right on this one. He was quite patient too.
How has this man passed his test, def not in the UK

It's like speed trap tickets. Not every speeder gets caught. Eventually, habitual speeders get ticketed. It's not fair but that's the system.
Apparently the guys still saying he isn't parked still, yet hes out his car that's clearly parked.🙊
There shouldn't be a zigzag as there's no requirement for it on that side of the road because it's a one way street. There is no traffic merging from the right so your view cannot be obstructed. The zigzag should only apply to those on the other use of the road.
Wow two of the best wardens I have even seen. The guy is a mouthy hothead that blatantly admit he is waiting on zig zags, he needs to thank his lucky stars the police didn’t come and learn the Highway Code.
All this at the start while G4S is parked on the pavement and then drives all over the pedestrian walkway !!
That’s 40 mins of my life I won’t get back
To be fair the traffic wardens attitude was good giving the reasons. I've had one of these guys about to issue a ticket then I ran in to my car and drove off, he was saying I am getting the ticket but I didn't 4 months ago.
You can't just park up illegally and wait for a space 😂😂
The Warden sounds and looks like the guy from “PUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH SHUT”

He didn't move his car😂 for 20mins
So that guy was spoken to about this offence the previous day and he still did it! Give him a ticket everytime.
Even if he was in the wrong I still felt for this man. This was a nice change from AB more or less just observing the madness 😆
no one going to mention the security van exiting in the middle of the crossing...
Apparently the 'we treat everyone the same' parking crowd did not care about that. I looked up information supplied by one of the largest cash in transit companies and there was no mention of them having an exemption.
