The Tusk upper crash bars are very well designed….and sturdy! I think they are the best looking CB’s available for the gen 3 klr.
    Been very happy with them!
The Tusk lower crash bars are a different story. I purchased the first “blemished” set on eBay, thinking they would fit no problem.
They do not pair up with the ricochet skid plate….which happens to be the most popular skid plate option for this bike. In addition, there was no disclaimer on the description. Real bummer.
Currently trying to return the lower crash bars with no response from RMATV yet… :(

I put a set on my base bike and they look great but the right side nearly touches the fairing and the left side has about a quarter inch gap. They are heavy duty but I think the qc could be better

The T-Rex seem to be the only bars that work with the adventure model light bar. 🤷‍♂️

Chase, I have installed my upper crash bars. However, they are very close and even lightly touching the plastic side on the left side. I have followed the installation video step by step, wrote and even tried to send your tech department pictures only to be told I needed to be meticulous on the installation. I’m not sure what else to try any suggestions?

Do you have a part number for those lights (I'm assuming it's TUSK)? Ty and if not, any brand name recommendations for auxiliary lights (non-OEM)?

You have to take the aux lights and bracket off and the lower crash bars go as well.

The Adventure model already comes with crash bars albeit not as nice as the Tusk bars. That’s why I’m getting a base model. Choice of color and clean slate to accessorize to my taste/needs.

@@michiganmoto7687 adventure comes with engine guard. (Lower bracket) but not the side ones to block fairing. That’s what that little plastic thing is for lol. Yea no.

KLR 650 Adventure comes with lower engine guards and a light bar (It's NOT a crash bar). To fit the Tusk bars on the 2024, you have to remove both of these. If I were to buy again, I would have just bought the base version with nothing and add crash bars and panniers afterwards.

Don't buy these ones. Put them on, went down on the next day, and my entire panel got shattered, the part with the hole in it below your knees. Doesn't protect it for shit.

I mean, just looking at them, they dont seem to fully cover/protect the entire fairing.
