I can't even afford jewellery from yourselves, I have about 50 piercings in my ears, most of them done by myself too. 😬
Nice that her mom was encouraging her to change everything out and that she was excited about the transformation, too.
Best mom ❤️
She’s such a cutie pie! Her personality is so bubbly and her ears jewelry looks great
I already know she spent some big bucks 😩 I love it though
Anything for quality and yourself
@@Shopluluave definitely! It’s what I did
Personally I wouldnt mind spending that much on jewelry if that high quality, I spent 80$ alone on my Septum lol its surgical steel or no deal tbh
@@googieskookies791 $80 for a septum? u got robbed my dude lol. i payed $30 for mine (surgical steel) with the best service i've ever seen in terms of hygiene & care.
@@unusual2821 Haha no!! I tipped her generously! No worries lol
This has nothing to do with her piercing her own ears. It’s just shitty jewelry. 🤦🏾♀️
Exactly
Shame on the channel owner for implying that it was some how the piercing.
I was sitting here going “if I put cheap metal in my ears, they’ll look like that too. And they’ll hurt.” I’ve been wearing the same diamond studs for pretty much 15 years now (I occasionally switch them or go without) and my ears never look like in the video.
Thank you for pointing out! Exactly this is the reason, the cheap jewelry just oxidizes on the skin.
The staining is definitely from crappy jewelry, but piercing yourself can be dangerous especially if you don't know what you are doing
Stainless steel wouldn’t turn your skin green, it’s copper that oxidises and stains the skin that colour.
strange! but stainless steel is for your kitchen not in your body .
Most stainless steel has copper in it, so technically you’re both right. Stainless steel is an alloy after all.
@Rachel I thought this too, stainless steel doesn't turn skin green, it's a metal most piercers recommend as it's safe.. I was looking for this comment, thank you! ☺️☺️
Exactly, most likely, cheap ‘silver’ jewellery with nickel in it
My necklace that I’ve been wearing for almost 2 years is made of stainless steel and it hasn’t turned my skin any colours.
Stop calling piercing bumps Keloid's! They are extremely rare to get and don't go away on their own. Keloid's have to be surgically removed by a surgeon, and they will even tell you that they might come back. If you got a keloid from a piercing, you would get them from any type of a healed cut or injury.
The most common type of piercing bumps are granulomas.
So please 🙏 stop calling them Keloids, educate yourself, and spread the word.
I have several granulomas, how can I get rid of them?
And it's even more rare for white people to get them. Keloids tend to form on people of African descent.
@@ferbergeangst7191 try no-pull silicone piercing discs
Definitely true! I have a few keloids on me & my mom had huge ones! & I’ve also had piercings bumps too, So I know the difference between them! & when I see ppl with them & call them keloids….I look at them funny.
i’m not gonna talk to my friends and be like oh yeah i got a granuloma on my ear
Her ear sure got great tolerance when it comes to low quality jewellery. Wow
💖. Nice vid btw
Yes need the best lulusbodyjewelry.com
My ears wouldn't have tolerated that, i can only wear gold, or platinum, or they get infected. Cheap jewelry makes me inflammed within half an hour.
@@Fiona2254 try titanium
She didn't do half bad on the piercings, just not investing in good earrings lol I used to wear copper rings to put copper bands on my fingers
Not even referring to the quality of jewelry but her jewelry sizes definitely needed some help with the aesthetic of the overall flow and look.
Only use flat backs and titanium!!!
I've done 5 of my own but I use implant grade titanium jewelry and switched a few over to bioflex once completely healed and without any irritation. You have to take regular good care of them no matter who pierces them.
Oh she’s lovely ☺️ her personality matches her beautiful face ❤️ love that mum is super supportive and just as excited as she is, great mum 😍☺️
👍
He is also lovely 🤭
Good quality jewelry also makes a difference. I’ve had lobes look green before and changed to solid gold after. Cleared it right up.
A great way to tell if your piercer used cheap or low quality jewelry is if it sticks to a magnet, Surgical Steel is a high quality material used on piercing jewelry. It doesnt turn your skin different colors, doesnt rust, and it's not magnetic. If your piercing is magnetic, take it out. Itll infect you🤣
Definitely liking the new earrings better, the old cheap ones she had were just too bulky and crowded. The new ones look more elegant
Even sterling silver tarnishs just don't put anything in your ears Gold is great but expensive Go with surgical Titanium as a cheaper metal that wont turn so funky But Please Continue cleaning your ears don't let them get gunked up
Felt it in her leg 😂 holy shit wtf
Scary 😧
She might’ve hit a nerve spot in a weird way.
It’s fortunate she didn’t develop an infection; the piercer did a great job and gave her great advice. Never cheap out on your piercer or piercing jewelry.
I found out about those labret bars not too long ago. I have sensitive ears and I would always buy those cheap earrings from jewelry stores. Since I’ve had these bars, my piercings never get irritated anymore. I have 12 on my ears, I like the labret jewelry a lot better.
I only wear titanium flat backs jewelry in my 13 piercings! My body doesn’t like hoops or any other types of metals!!
same
My body is actually really good with lower quality jewelry but I do like to keep titanium (mostly studs) in my ears because it keeps me less worried about my ears getting messed up
The bad thing about where I live got virtually no place that sells titanium stuff. Most places sell sterling silver or stainless steels of various qualities. I was lucky to be able to wear low quality jewellery without problems in a healed piercing but I still want something better or at least a little bit more permanent.
Yes titanium works well
@@AlphaRrPit I would try ordering them online then!!! Make sure you know the measurements of the posts and diameter before you do though!!
You didn't mention the good metals to use for new piercings, change out times.... 😘
That didn't happen bc she pierced it herself but bc she used the wrong jewelry, I pierced my ears myself except for my industrial and they're all fine 😌
She is adorable!
I HAVE 12 PIERCINGS WICH I DID MYSELF AND NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM TILL THIS DAY,LOVE FROM SOUTH AFRICA
Hi 👋🏼 from Mossel Bay, South-Africa
It ain’t the piercing of the industrial that makes it so hard, it’s the afterward. I didn’t have it but I’ve watched the healing process a billion times. I got a double helix and it hurt, couldn’t image such a gauge and the bar.
i wish i went to you guys for my industrial … i’ve had it for almost a year n i had to take it out for surgery so i put 2 separate plastic flat backs just for the surgery and i noticed the holes don’t even line up so now i don’t even know what to do
oooh my friend had almost the same problem, she had to buy one of those angled industrial bar
I pierced my 2nd and 3rd when i was 11 and did my Helix at 12- when i was 14 i started piercing my Tongue, Septum, Nostril, Rook, Daith, and Navel. Since then i’ve been perfectly fine. Its been 4 years and still none have needed to be reopened or gotten infected. 😊
hey!! may I know what did you use to clean out the green - blackish area around her ears cause my ears are turning blackish and I want to take care of them.
Great professionalism!
I've pierced my ears, lips and bridge by myself 😅 This did not happen to mine.
Absolutely, looks better!
im getting a keloid on the back of both of my helix piercings. did i do something wrong or was it because it was pierced with a piercing gun? also they dont hurt so should i keep them in?
Go to a professional piercer and get their opinion. Also, get longer bars of quality jewelry to replace the ones you now have if the piercer agrees. Jewelry used for gun piercings are nowhere near long enough, and are made with inferior metals. You're not getting keloids---your getting piercing bumps, otherwise know as hypertrophic scarring, most likely caused by the jewelry not being long enough, and made of inferior materials. (Jan Griffiths).
@@douglasgriffiths3534 oh my gosh thanks so much! ill try that out
That's not the issue, it depends on what type of earrings you have. If the metal is cheap then it might cause an infection. Though you shouldn't get a lot of piercing in one area, you should make sure to spread out the piercings.
How did those heal but my second earlobe piercings who where pierced by a experienced piercer won’t
Wow I did most of mine myself that just looks like she wasn't properly cleaning them and cheep jewelry
after the gate in malaysia open am gonna go to lulus for suree
Ayyyy Oregon ganggg!!!
✨🙏
What did you clean her new piercing with???? And where can I get some?
NeilMed sterile piercing spray, you can get it on Amazon!
i would come except for the fact i live in australia :(
that’s crazyy
Yay! Sanitary conditions!
Cool she got industrial looks nice on her
I did mine myself. Ice cube and needle. 3 in each lobe. A long long time ago lol when I was a teenager. Never had any problems. My mom was an RN and showed me how to care for them. The ones I spent $300 on bothered me the most. Go figure.
I got my helix piercing done January4 how long till I can take it out and change earrings
I've done some of my own, just use good quality jewelry! Lol
I love my industrial piercing.Took awhile to heal but well worth it.
How long will it take for that color on the ear to fade?
nah dude her peircings look fine just the jewlery that made her ear look bad.
Nice piercing / I am also piercer in India / I have many designs of piercing jewelery / silver jewelery also, good collection, new variety and different jewelery hai. /
That’s not because of her piercing herself. It’s because of the material the jewelry is made of… probably some cheap stainless steel that makes your ear go green
Wait. Stainless steel is bad? I always go for stainless steel because my ears are sensitive and it doesn’t give me a reaction.
Ok inrecdntly pierced my ears my self just two holes in even distance to the first hole i got with 17
But only left they shot them with a pistol back thN but thw right hole never really healed and gemrew close i dont even feel where it was notmaly there would be like a a feelable scar but nothing.
However i shot them the new ones two cause i felt like öiercing myself with a katheter needle on the ear was not doable.
At first it was to tight i could not get a drop of the special anti bactarial spray i bought under it so i loosened it wich was difficult but it did not really got better it was warm and swallen (half a day passed) so i imidetly ordered tiny creols pure sterling silver took 2 days to arrive.
I took the old ones out (gloves desinfection everything) it was verry swallen the canals where hard but not wierdly colored (like there) and i cleaned everything used the spray i mentions
Sterelized the silver with pure alcohol and put the new ones in wich barely closed because well swallen
Next das they had enough spiel to moove them back an forth so the inflamation stopt the itching Nd slichly anoying pain stoped too
Means i am alergy to chyrug steel if its like an open wound.
I knew i was alergic to nikel on my skin
But did not know the ear thing.
What i assume here is that the earings she had put in where not silver or titanium worst case even had nikel in it
And unlike me she did not swaped them asap
Outsch her 4th hole on the left was so close to the rim.......
And the right has so uneaven space between .
I just got my nosed pierced and watching this made me thankful I went to a professional to pierce my nose and my ears
I can't wear any fake jewelry what so ever. If i get the bar will my ear have an allergic reaction to that metal
I really want the piercing but im afraid that if i get faint ppl will make fun of me. But u i really want it and im not afraid of the pain just trying to get over my phobia of needles.
you can prevent the discoloration by coating the back and the post with clear nail polish ,,works on sunglasses too
I was thinking he is in N.Y. or somewhere out east the way she kept saying "all the way from Oregon", cute kid!
That's because she has crap jewelry in her ears not because she pierced it on her own.
I have 7 holes in each ear. I got them all professionally pierced
She is very lucky she got away with it. I have only had proper professional piercings and only in my ear lobes. I got keloid scarring and and infection trapped in the keloids which took months of antibiotics and lancing to heal.
The nose stud in the tragus! Nooo. You salvaged that ear. The inconsistent spacing on the other side would bother me too much and I'd take them all out and start again though.
i really want to know where her jacket is from :(
Wow! I can't believe she did all those piercings herself...
$$$$$$$$ Yesss
why use a marker pen....not hygenic lf you reuse and wasteful if its a one time use ??
It’s single use surgical markers and you can not use them again. Just like all the other tools that are single use and disposable
So pretty with the new hardware. the other choices, ugh.
My mum pierced my ear with a sterilized needle and it didn't hurt + afterwards, it healed properly and never hurts. This was so much better than what piercers at the mall did. They used a piercing gun to do a helix in my ear and it became infected with a keloid. It took YEARS for it to heal.
Please, please, please, go see someone professional like this gentleman to do your piercings. When you are dealing with someone who has blood poisoning and may die, or whose ear is stinking so much you can smell it in the corridor, or whose ear has rotted and is literally falling off (and sometimes depending on where the piercing is .... Other bits of the body are falling off) .... You would never ever risk an amateur doing the piercing because it is cheaper.
Cause that actually happens?
An ordinary ear piercing can be done at home.
And you can say that pro piercing exposes you to HIV and Hep C!
3:40 Not the girl wearing 2006-style foundation! Not blending at all outside of her face and jawline LOL
That must have been expensive.
Hahaha I do my piercing too but I only do the lobe and everything else I'm going to a professional
The black is probably from wearing silver long time
That's what happens to my ears when I don't wear gold or surgical steel.
Her foundation is so bad😂
Omg never tell ur piercer u pierced urself
I'm early!!!!!
Well look at those cheep ass Claire earrings .
Thought the colours in the thumbnail were just edited in>
My friend has like 10 piercings she did herself on her ears and has some hella massive keloids
That's just cheap ass jewelry, I peirce my own
If your going to get piercings, get it done professionally.
I've been wearing surgical steel in my ears and nose for years, 316 L doesn't turn green. Those must have been cheap earrings.
Damn this guys fine..
Fake jewelry is what turns your skin green...duh
I believe that she didn't take care of her ear piercings I'm sorry but if you're going to attempt to do a piercing at least take care of them and you shouldn't be doing them yourself anyway and if you're going to get piercings at least take care of them keep them cleaned
She is not responsible 😬why would she keep the earrings in if it’s turning her ear green
A lot of times you can't see it. Jewelry in the way. She should have changed out her jewelry before this. Then she would have noticed. Most often it can be cleaned off, but sometimes it's permanent. Jewelry needs to be checked daily when the piercings are cleaned. At least now she has some quality jewelry in her piercings. (Jan Griffiths).
How old is she she looks like forty.
Need better foundation matching and blending.
Im in sixth grade with like 7 piercings and I pierced myself like 10 times
be sure to add that to your resume :)
“She pierced herself 11 times and this is what happened.. her ear almost fell off ..”
My goodness don’t pierce your own ears at home 🤦🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️
I agree 👍 💯 you get what you pay for. Can't be cheap either have a professional to do it 🤷
That’s disgusting. Clean your jewelry and your ears.
Did you not listen at all? It’s got nothing to do with her not cleaning them
It’s the jewellery that’s been eating away at her ears which makes the colour stick to the skin since cheap jewellery shouldn’t be worn for long periods of time
@@jello0997 Still a good idea to clean your jewelry and ears, js
i have 22 piercing and i did 18 of them myself… i’m 15
