Got it mostly split and stacked. There was some Green Ash mixed in with the White Ash. I swear the EAB likes White Ash better. I had to stack the Green Ash in the back to let it dry out some. As far as porting; you gain HP and Torque. I had been kicking around getting a 395 or 592 b/c I wanted to be able to pull a longer bar. The 572 does okay. So after talking with the place that will be porting my 572 the HP & Torque ratings will end up between a 390 and 395. So I’ll get similar performance with less weight. And, I won’t be dropping $$$ on another saw... I had thought about selling the 572 and use the $$$ toward the 395 or 592 but decided on the porting route...

I prefer the 18" bar and x cut chainsaw on my 550xp too. It's a good combination
