I think that a lot of UA-camrs are hard on Hobby Lobby. They carry a vast assortment of core products for Christmas. If you are growing your collection, it’s a blessing to be able to add additional products in subsequent years. I noticed shoppers with carts full of decor. So I think that they are doing a good job and the prices with the 50% off are comparable to others if not less.😮
That’s funny that you said that because I actually thought the opposite of Hobby Lobby. I thought that they had quite a few new things that I thought were really beautiful! I am going with a very traditional style with all of the traditional colors so maybe that’s why I saw it differently and I did see all of the repeats.
Hi Tiffany. I personally enjoy Hobby Lobby at Christmas especially !It is like an old school holiday store that you can count on to have classic and hard to find items with a mix of newer items. The collections also go on sale very quickly.I agree that the prices have increased, and that basket was very pricey , but I feel that’s across the board just like Michaels , Joann and Kirklands etc. I kind of don’t mind that they have repeats over the years because it gives you the chance to get items that you missed the year before. I am sooooo over the beige /neutral thing but to each their own. I also miss the 40 %off coupon !!! Thank you for taking us shopping! I love your videos and I find them very relaxing.😊
Good morning and thank you for the multiple post. I have staff out sick and I've been working double shifts. But thankfully I have a TV in my office and your post have made the long hours easier. P.S. I enjoy you and your family and the talking LOL.
I personally thought that Hobby Lobby had quite a bit of new selections that are on trend this year. Their flocked ornaments went viral, and now you can’t find them anywhere. They had a lot of the champagne, bronze, brown ornaments, which aren’t my taste for Christmas colors, but seem to be very on trend. I will I agree that their prices have gone up drastically since the COVID lockdown and shortages, but that is the case everywhere I shop.
We all “evolve” in our decorating taste and we all have decor that has been in a bin and shoved to back of the pile of bins because we no longer like it, it’s part of our growth as human beings. Always enjoy you Mr take on seasonal decor and love your idea for the eucalyptus stems!
I don’t know if it is just a Hobby Lobby thing - I have not spent much money - nothing is inspiring me anywhere or maybe I have too much already (per my hubby)…TFS ❤
I’ve never been in a hobby lobby store but I always hear great things about it. I’ve seen some things friends/family have purchased there. None of it looked chinsy. Thank you for sharing this video 💕🙏🙏
Who doesn’t find more than expected at Hobby Lobby! The only thing the stores are short on this year are gold, silver, clear ice, red and green shiney icycles!! Even Amazon is limited.
I am decluttering my subscriptions to YTubers... especially a lot of haul/decorating/Craft DIY; I had over subbed during Covid, subbing to everything! I recently came across your channel, subbed...and must say, I am keeping yours on my list! I find your channel to be engaging, well thought out, well edited, and inspiring... and of course, you are just adorable, and your family as well!... and those pumpkin slippers... well... what can I say?
I feel like that as well sometimes. I will go back but we have other stores too. Kirkland's, Home Goods , many others stores out their. And local stores downtown as well we live in a small town and the shops are adorable.
Hi Tiffany, I agree with you. I think we need to shop several stores to find what we want and also because of the prices. You found some really great items. Have a good weekend!
Love all the videos. I ran to hobby lobby this week and ended up buying more holiday staple christmas items like a doormat, blanket, and gold bells. I felt like their selection was more to build off of then build with if that makes sense. I also ran to my local goodwill and was impressed with their seasonal decor. Next year I'm going to try to remember to go thrift stores first. I also have to say I love your cute hair, style, and lashes those along with your comforting demeanor, and calming voice makes a great presentation. :)
Hey Tiffani love the inspiration pictures with your purchases. Just be careful with the eucalyptus bleeding if you use it outside. I used some red ribbon and also eucalyptus in an outside swag, and the colours bled and stained my white house. You can clip off one leaf and lay it on something white and mist it with water and see if it will bleed. With rain and snow, your swag could get very wet at times. I also heard if you spray it with a mat waterproof sealant that will protect it.
Hobby Lobby Christmas decor just don't not speak to me. The only found I found was a few amber glass tree bulbs. All my ribbon came from back in the fabric section.
I agree with you Tiffany . I’ve always liked Hobby Lobby but they could kick it up a notch and add some newer decor items . Great finds ❤I’m having a hard time finding long leaf seeded eucalyptus so I got similar ones you bought 👍
I'm with you about glitter! I avoid it at all cost! I love HL's reproduction vessels, candles and their beautiful ribbon. Their wall decor is nice too. Mirrors.......even some art work. I pick and choose from the vast array of "stuff".
I agree with you regarding Hobby Lobby. They have never been my go to place for decor, although I do buy there from time to time. The common sense side of me questions the “markup” of the items in order to offer at 50% off right off the bat.
The prices in general on everything now days, anywhere is craziness! 🎄I feel Hobby Lobby’s prices are very very pricey and even with 50% as you mentioned. So it’s a little difficult to shop there right now. 🎄
I'm a non glitter gal as well! I really can't comment or give my opinion on stores as I have yet to get out. I have done some online shopping at Kirklands, Target and Tattered Tulip. I'm not really looking for anything in particular this year, I just tried to get one box of the lighter brown ornaments that sold out very fast from Hobby Lobby but not a necessity at all. I can't wait to see how beautiful your home will be for Christmas!! You always do such a great job! Have fun with it. Enjoy your weekend, an extra hour of decorating!!! ❤️🎄
Hobby Lobby Christmas is great for getting started in your decorating. But it is pretty much the same stuff every year. So for me I’ve pretty much have bought everything I like in previous years. I’ve bought a few things but this year but not much.
I agree with you about Hobby Lobby Christmas merchandise….. so much is repeats from last year and I was really disappointed. And I agree 100% about the prices…..even with half off, some things are just too expensive. I think I simply have seen it all so maybe that’s my problem.. but on the flip side, I’ve saved some money!! 🎄
I really want to go to Hobby Lobby, but I really don’t need anything. Walmart has been my go to for this year. We just bought a small home in a small town. Hobby lobby is about half an half up the highway and Walmart is about 15 minutes. The only thing I might “need” is the white berries. I got the blue ones last year and didn’t love them, but I have blue in this house so they will work even better this year!
Beautiful haul and cat!!! I think the picks that you saw that look like berries were actually miniature pomegranates. I think. That’s what they look like to me.😊
I was raised in MA and when I got married, we move to NH. I have left NH and moved to GA. My husband and I were looking to buy a home. I never heard or seen the store Hobby Lobby till we were there. My realtor said Hobby Lobby is a junk store. And when I went into the store at a later time, I said to myself I agree with her. I had purchased a few things over the years, and they did not hold out well. I only go there now to buy ribbon or maybe a few stems. I personally do not like that store. But to each their own.
I still love to walk through the aisles of Hobby Lobby and browse their selections. I will say that I don't necessarily purchase items every time that I go. Obviously since they eliminated their 40% off coupons, you end up having to wait until things go on sale because some of the prices are on the higher end. For example, the garland that you showed in your video. I could never justify paying $80 for one garland. I also saw a Grinch themed item that I thought would be cute hanging on the front door of our apartment, but it was also originally $80 and I was not convinced that the fabric hanger would hold up long term and even at $40 (at the 50% off all Christmas decor), I thought it was pricey. However, with all of that being said, I did purchase a Grinch themed dish drying mat for like $5 which I thought was very reasonable as well as a Grinch canvas wall hanging for our bathroom. And I went back again today while I was out running other errands and purchased the most beautiful Santa Claus canvas wall decor and the cutest cow canvas wall decor and both were 50% off this week, so I got both pieces for around $45 plus tax. And the Santa Claus canvas piece is good sized. The biggest complaint that I have with the Hobby Lobby store that I went to (and both times that I went ~ yesterday and today ~ I went to the same location), is that the employees there were extremely unfriendly. They had 2 checkout lines open and they were incredibly slow and both cashiers never said hello when customers walked up or thanked them for their purchase. Not so much as even a smile or nod of recognition. It was a pretty disappointing experience.
I know what you mean about doing all the trendy things. I tend to do my own thing, but I am loving the neutral colors. I hand make many of my decorations, so mine are not like every one else. I love hobby lobby don’t get me wrong.
I'm confused. I'm watching quite a few decorating videos for Christmas and I am seeing a great deal of gingerbread and also back to traditional red white and green colors. It was even said that the neutrals were on their way out for Christmas decor. But I'm like you in the sense that I decorate with what makes me happy not what is on trend.
I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and I didn’t find much either. I also think their items can be very expensive. I feel there 50% off would be the normal price not a sales prices.
I’m in Canada but I’ve noticed Michaels here has really raised their prices on Xmas decor. I wasn’t impressed this year with the high prices. We don’t have HL in Canada unfortunately.
Welcome to my Canadian world!....I agree, M's prices are nuts...no wonder our store has no shoppers anymore... I'm actually popping down to the states next week (about 1 hour's drive away)...to do some shopping...
Just watching this video and got very concerned when you talked about possibly using the dried eucalyptus in your home because it is poisonous even in dried form to cats. I still found lots of things I liked at Hobby Lobby, but my favorite stuff this year is hands down My Texas House at Walmart.
I will be shopping Hobby Lobby for stems and candles. Every year I try to get my grandkids an ornament related to something that happened in that year. Deryn went to Alaska, Jenna got engaged, Libby turned 21 so a cocktail ornament. Ian is a HS Senior and has always loved drama, so a break a leg ornament. Didn't your daughter get her license? There are all kinds of new driver ornaments.
I went to HL today & saw a lot of repeats. My disappointment was that there was no kitchen or party section for Christmas out yet. Fall is only 50% off, they need to mark it down & move it out. I drive 75 miles to go so I was bummed they didn’t have it all out yet.
timestamp 6:04: those red 'berries' are not acorns, they are RoseHips! After a rose has finished blooming, the petals fall off, and a green rosehip is left... then they start to turn red...and give great winter interest over the holiday season...can be snipped off, and used in arrangements...but I leave mine on, as it is next to the front door!
I don’t know if you have also noticed but HL now does NOT do “table decor” in the weekly 50% off. It’s been months now. And I’m finding that their mass produced stuff is looking cheaply put together
I enjoy your videos and appreciate your opinion. HOWEVER…I am so over the whole neutral Christmas decor. If I see one more Christmas season where the majority of social media influencers tout the cow bells and all beige color scheme I will go crazy!!! Some people can like neutral Christmas while others like glitter and color. I’ve got to have a place that sells what I like too.
I find that not all Hobby Lobbys are equal. I've been to the HL shown in this video and I don't care for it. The HL closest to where I live is larger and seems to have more selections. I only frequent this one when my sister and I meet up to shop together.
My fave things to pick up at HL are kitcheny items…tins for cookies, etc. I don’t buy a lot of new decor every year, so the more perishable stuff always gets my dollar. Thanks for always cheering me up with your videos (and fluff that gorgeous hair and flutter your lovely lashes all you want 😝). Can’t wait to see all your creative ideas for the holidays.
I feel like for the past year I have not found much of anything at Hobby Lobby. Im kind of growing tired the store I think. Plus, sometimes their stuff is very cheaply made and irregular. I did see some new trendy Christmas things this year. Like the metal picks, and some of the brown things (WHY is BROWN a trend for Christmas??).
I don’t understand the neutral Christmas trend at all. Christmas is about the classic colors of the season. It will come and go and Hobby Lobby will still be the place to shop. I don’t understand the haters of Hobby Lobby at all.
It is more of a behind the scenes, type of thing...google the story of how the store came to be and what they stand for.... for some, it is important...and others they don't care - they just want the cow bells!

Lol So nice to see someone who agrees the glitter is somewhat out of control this year. Thanks for sharing.

There’s NEVER a wrong time to love on the kitties!! Lol…But the cat hair!! I feel your pain!

The dried eucalyptus WILL bleed if used for the swag outside. Trust me! 😢

Hi, I made a comment about Hobby Lobby on this site. Their items are so cheaply made.
Yes! 5 years ago I was impressed but lately. I could see that it was hot glued together and just looked terrible
That is why I shop thrift stores! All the influencers gave all their non neutral stuff away!
Might want to stay off social media then 😉
I find that not all Hobby Lobbys are equal. I've been to the HL shown in this video and I don't care for it. The HL closest to where I live is larger and seems to have more selections. I only frequent this one when my sister and I meet up to shop together.
Your cat is beautiful my dogs name is Luna
Hobby Lobby is my least favorite I love Michael’s Joanne’s and Amazon or factory craft direct
I went to HL two weeks ago, so much was gone 😢 (a lot of items in your video were gone)
