Hi there, I don’t often comment on videos but with this one I absolutely felt like I had to. It was so utterly lovely to see two people being actual partners, loving one another and supporting one another without it feeling staged or overdone or “just for the camera”. I’m currently going through a difficult break up and usually struggle with feeling a bit bitter towards “happiness”. It’s not a nice way to feel and I know it will pass. I loved this! You view on marriage, especially the peaks and valleys, is on the spot! The friendship side is so important because once the children leave home, it’s just you and your best friend and you have to be comfortable together during that season of life (we have been empty nests for 16 years). As for the East Coast, New England specifically, I miss it as I was born and raised in Maine and left 40 years ago when I got married and I miss the distinct seasons, the maples and elms and birch trees and the pine trees (we live in a high desert valley in CO) and the fresh seafood and fiddle heads! I really enjoyed this and both of you are so in sync!

Sometimes going to Costco or Aldi together is date enough. Or enjoying a Netflix show, etc.
