Fly-fishing for Sea-run Cutthroat Trout - my favorite season!

The fall months are my favorite time of year to chase Sea-run Cutthroat trout in Puget Sound. The summer crowds and the hordes of salmon anglers are gone, there’s no weed in the water, and the gentle showers and overcast skies make for good fishing conditions. On this particular day I had the beach to myself and enjoyed perfect fly-fishing weather. Now, if the fish would just cooperate!
