Captured with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver.

I can tell you first hand it is a terrible feeling when you are in an 18 wheeler trying to get out of the way, but you can't because there is no room to move..
Buy a house beside a fire department they said...
Apparently it's rocket science for most people to pull to the right. A firefighter should never have to get out of the apparatus, and go up to tell somebody to move to the right! That it is ridiculous.
And people wonder 'why they takin' so long??' You have your answer in this video.
Thank You. To all Volunteer's, You Guy's are True Heroes. God Bless.
Well, sometimes a lot of noise doesn't do the trick. "Trying to come up the middle" might not work :....but....One method that worked for me in a blocked highway, turn off the siren, use the PA and say tell them what to do..."Cars on the left move left, cars on the right move right" and voila, you go up the middle. Repeat siren and instructions as needed. I love how trucks and people hang into the breakdown lane so no one can cut past them..then a fire turck needs to get thru...
Legend has it that they are still in traffic until this day....
never ceases to amaze me how big American fire engines are compared to other countries.
The americans need to work on that; giving space for the rescue
Damn that Air Horn is a beast GO GET EM BROTHERRSS!!!
All the respect goes out to the driver! Great maneuvering through that mess man!

Incredible driving in an unbelievably difficult response situation. Thank you for serving your community with such excellence!
Hearing that Q pin sends a chill up my spine. I love it.
I used to run with Roanoke County Fire and Rescue. I was a volunteer during the 80s, and I have to say, still great work for your response time!
When an emergency happens, i'm glad we got people who can wake up early at night or be at the station during the day, to respond and save citizens in need of their help 😁👍
I just started coming up on these videos in my recommended, and one thing I like is that you include pictures at the end of what it is that you were responding to 👌🏾
I love that Q siren and power call I am a junior firefighter hoping to be a full time firefighter keep up the work!
Congratulations to your firefighters for their dedication. By cons I am shocked by the inaction of cars and trucks on your roads ... At home in Europe, we have the obligation, on the highways, to leave the track of the free medium in case of dense road traffic.
Nice to see a video from a pretty close to me department. I work for BCoFR about an hour down the road gotta love that Q it’ll never get old. Even though I run on medic truck 3/4 times. Good luck and stay safe brothers.
