  • Every 4 years the United States of America is electing a new president. The process itself is rather long and very old - even outdated - wich makes the whole undertaking somewhat complicated. In this video, we are trying to break it down for you anyway.

At least it’s better than in my country, where you can only vote for a particular party who chooses their prime minister if they get the most votes, and you have absolutely no say in who that will be. If they even decide to care which party got the most votes and not just do what they want anyway 🙄

😮🗳 It's astonishing how the winner-takes-all electoral system can sometimes result in a disparity between popular support and the actual outcome of an election. Situations where one candidate wins despite a significant portion of the population supporting the other candidate raise questions about the effectiveness and fairness of such a system. Exploring alternative electoral methods that better reflect the diverse preferences of voters can be crucial in addressing this issue.

And the other mistake is although it's customary to give your electoral votes to the winner of your state it's not actually beholding to it. there have been very rare occasions where the Electoral rolls have voted the opposite way.

The Big Boss Voting System: I gave the people of my town 2 candidates to vote for, either way they will vote for my chosen candidates who work for me.
Likewise, many if not all the political systems work the same way. They let people vote so they think they have a choice or free to vote, but they don't know the candidates already have been chosen for them that work for the big boss!!!

Why is it so complicated in the US !
In South Korea, you just have to go to an electoral booth and vote, then pew! The president is selected!

That means if these electorates are given enough votes could be bought..wats the point in people voting. then.in India representatives are ones who get most peoples vote. And they change based on the vote mandate.

Here in India , we see the best man for Prime Minister , we vote him directly to become a PM.

😑 it all seems understandable until the term people are voting for delegates/ electors and the confusion hits hards ...I understand that the Congress members cast their votes to choose the president and the vice president and they're elected delegates by popular vote . .so they're already their waiting in line until the primaries and general election are settled down to cast their votes ...yet when delegates or electors pop out in middle of primaries or general election stage it knocks me off!!

it's inacurate to say that we decide between Republicans and Democrats just because they usually get qualified. We've had several elections with Independants and other people running for office
