Thank you and happy training!
Good morning, Andy!!! Max look's like a real sweetheart of a dog! I've been working my Malinois Maxine to try for French Ring Brevet hopefully next year and to think five months ago she was 14 months and completely untrained. I'm awed at how willing she is and she's so motivated by praise, we're working on building repetitions and muscle memory. Thank you for everything!!!
💪🏼💪🏼
My wife and I were just discussing how to accomplish something very similar and BAM there it is! Thanks

🙌🏻
Thank you for showing this way. My Kona is very ball driven. So much so she will not drop a ball while trying to be fierce towards a squirrel. It’s quite funny seeing her trying to be intimidating while holding the ball.
i have tried your excersize on giving my German Sheppered puppy 5 min. challange. it took me 2 min. amazing. I would love to be on Patrion but the issue is, it is not easy to stop it if I want to when done training. is there another way pls?
Mr. Krueger, I have one question after an explanation. I have a 4 yr old Bel Mal and her first two years were in and out of the hospital. We took an obedience course and she did really well retaining things although, my partner and I didn’t do a good job at maintaining. At this point, we’re back to the basics and moving forward. Question: do I crate my dog between training sessions? Training sessions that are done in and outdoors? Come to think of it, I have one more question. How do I keep her entertained between sessions when she’s done resting? Being that we are doing training with treats and toys; both are huge motivators for her. Thank you in advance. Your training technique and videos are extremely informative and helpful. You break the trainer lingo down to help beginners understand. Thank you
3:50 love the chuckle .... LOL .... sneaky devil knows the moment you focus on the camera ;)
Nice to have you back

Great video again, I have deaf Belgian Malinoi, I’m wondering if you have any videos or are you going to make some videos? Can you help me train my dog?
Tons of my videos will help for sure 🙏🏼
I love your videos thanks 😊
Andy, To be honest I am "bummed out." We adopted an Aussie Shep\Herding\German Shep\Malamute mixed puppy last Oct. It is our first dog since we lost the best dog we ever had several years ago. We may have made a mistake. We have spent a lot of money on different trainers. I am a wheelchair bound disabled Vietnam vet and my wife is partially disabled.
We have taught Odee the basic commands: sit, down, stay and I take her for walks in my wheelchair. She will not respond when called; she gets "zoomies" at night and keeps wanting to play tug, she still bites, not hard, counter and table surfs for anything. My wife just does not have the dedication to train her effectively and I have difficulties being in my wheelchair. I am also embarrassed because I was a Dog Handler in Vietnam. Lost 3 dogs in combat. However, I became disabled in 2000 and now that I am not mobile, and older, I feel I have lost my patience and training abilities. Odee is 14 months and female and a truly great dog. i just don't know how to effectively train her while I am in a wheelchair.
So the head lift is for focus heeling? Never seen it done like that, very cool.
You could say that yes. Of course just this exercise won’t create a perfect focused heel. But it’s a necessary step 👍🏻
Thank you!
👍🏻
You’re videos are always awesome. You are awesome. Freddie is awesome and so are all the dogs who board there with you . As a patreon, I can attest that all your posts are worthy of the penance you would dish out for hourly sessions. Your session doesn’t need to be long. Your session needs to be thought out and make a plan B.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Andy!! How about teaching contact heel with the Ball!??
I teach with food first 👍🏻
what brand of ball is that and size. Starmark /
have an 85 pound Gsd
Great Andy!! I am having big issues with my dog, after BH and almost ready for IGP1… he just stopped to follow my commands, he is just playing. Looks like we are back to Square 1 despite continuous training. I am desperate😢😢😢 15months old swiss shephard. Any suggestion?🙏🏻🙏🏻
You spelled *Shepherd wrong
@@AndyKruegerdo you have any suggestions for his issue, other than spelling?
@@thefatvegan5008 I don’t believe it 🤷🏻♂️
Hall of fame trainer 🤩
🙏🏼
You are great 😊
Gsd working line is the best
Lol.. was just about to ask u about the chattering teeth..
I purchased the ball on the rope all the way to India through my friend. I see the rigid portion of the rope is shorter than the ones that you have on. 😢
Very sorry to hear that
Did you message them ?
I did communicate to them. The stuff that Andy uses is a custom made specially and these are standard ones.
Now if they are selling ones that are of different color, it was acceptable. But if they are different technically by design, purpose not served.
You have a link to buy that ball?
Yes please, been looking for that one.
What kind of leash is that? Just para cord to slip knot?
It’s just a slip lead. Rader K9 makes a good one.
Any reason why you wouldn’t just reward from the arm pit?
Because he wants the dogs focus, not the dog looking at the ball in the armpit.
Then he’d be looking at the ball not me 👍🏻
@@AndyKruegerI was going to ask what you thought about people using magnet balls on their shoulder. Based on your above answer, am I correct to assume you would not/do not, use that technique?
Where can I purchase that ball please? Anyone?
Do they learn better in german cause ?
Good pm.idol I'm joel calonge pilipino.
Andy invest in a new mic! 😀
Yeah my bad! I dropped it right before we shot this and it got messed up! Will be better in future videos! 🙏🏼
