Just goes to show, scissors can cut through a rock if you go through enough pairs.
Also I think missile interceptors are underrated as a counter for sentry missiles. People only every think of them as an answer to Stormcallers (and even then, half the time they prefer Mustangs or War Factory with AM tech), but if you're playing aggro then missile interceptors can last longer than you might think (since if you lose, it'll be while your units are crashing into your opponent's defence, not giving them time to counterattack and destroy your interceptor) and they can really throw a spanner into the plans of anyone who uses sentry missiles defensively. Even though an interceptor costs twice what a missile does, they more than earn their keep back even if they only counter one missile, because it's not just the economy difference; your opponent was _counting_ on that missile to negate a threat on your board, so by canceling it they've been left open to whatever it was they were trying to destroy. If a single well-placed sentry missile can win a round, a single unfortunately-countered one can _lose_ a round. Not, ultimately applicable in this game, admittedly, but still true.

That’s an interesting play. I almost always use scorpion as a counter to strong steelball players.
And I always forget how tough fire badgers actually are 😂

Hey Stoney, 15:23 is not quite right. You'd assume that an Overlord would add 350 Player Damage, but Summoned and Mind Controlled Units both deal reduced Player Damage. Overlords from the Summon spell deal 100 damage when they survive instead of 350; I just double checked in the Testing Grounds. (Mind Controlled Arclights deal 25 Player Damage, who knew!?)
I think it's important to get the information right if you're trying to educate "new players". Thanks for the otherwise helpful and informative content :)

Thank you for pointing it out. Yes, hacked and summoned units only deal 25% of the regular unit's player HP damage for 100-200 cost units, 24.6% for 300 cost, 21% for 400 cost, 20% for 500 cost, 15% for 800 cost such as WF

17:03 the way the Phantom Rays kept clocking after shooting definitely looks like a bug. I think it's because they shoot at the shield, but then try and target the Melter, but get stopped by the shield, so they shoot at the shield again.

I think the main problem was not realizing the lack of chaff clear.
Some Wraiths one or more turns before the one you picked to play would have sealed the deal right away.

Blue also only had 4 units of chaff. So they didn't have enough chaff clear AND didn't have enough chaff, vs an opponent with a ton of chaff and high level Badgers for chaff clear. They were losing the chaff war hard.

I don't understand why he didn't drop oil like the badgers are surrounding the chaf and he has fangs that have never crossed the center point. I think he could have won turn 6 or 7 after the badgers were placed and the scorps were still taking on the balls in 1 hit.

nice pre season 2 game, nowadays i rarely see any1 use steelballs due to every game being a race to who can switch to raiden the fastest

That calms down after a few weeks. New units shiny, so everyone wants to use them. Once people get over how shiny they are, and the opponent learns how to counter them better, they will simply enter the rotation of units that you see.
