A very productive day. It must be quite the task to remember which parts belong to which car. I would love to hear the EV run, lol….. thanks, Rick….. 🌴
Great video! The EV looks really nice 😊 My '60 bug had broken seat tracks on the pan and seat. The previous owner was a big guy - track spot welds broke and cracked pan along with seat itself.🙂
Being a guy who loves to paint correct, that is a great job he did on that little EV bug 👍🏻 ohhhh the studs! I’ll bet you were bummed. On the Baja bug, is that Manx material supposed to be heated to soften it so when the body is mounted up it gives to help seal it up? Hey, whet are you doing with the seats? Are copper fuel lines whet you typically use for fuel lines? Such a great collection you have there 👍🏻 CU tomorrow! 😁👋🏻
Yeah, Robert is amazing. That car looks and feels like glass now! I haven't heard of heating them up before, I suppose if you had a huge ove. You could do it though? The seats will get reupholstered for the Manx. Not sure on the color yet. Early cars used copper fuel line. 👌
I love it when you bring in other specialists to do their thing on your cars. The EV paintwork looks beautiful!
Lots of progress all around today!
Thanks Robert! We're really good at a lot of things, but there's some things better left to specialists lol.
That ev bug is slicker than snot. Wow. Shiny. I'd love to see a video of you driving the ev, just to see how different it is.
It came out amazing. I thought the paint job looked good before, but after Robert did his thing... Damn!

One word: organization. We have shelves dedicated to projects, label boxes of parts, etc. It's the only way, since there's so much overlap in parts.

Thanks!
That's not uncommon, especially with "big boned" owners lol. On the 67 the only issues I had to fix were the driver seat.
