I have never seen Tokic before this match. I am extremely surpresed how such a brilliant player who could even beat Ma long as you can see is that unknown
ma long is overrated
F'n Slow yeah, 2 world championships, Olympic singles gold, 4 or 5 ittf grand finals and being close to breaking samsonov's recpord of world tour wins at the age of 29 is obviously overrated.
@@youhyunnam9426 His results are inflated due to lack of serious competition.Boll and Samsonov had good sucess against him despite being past their prime.Let's not talk about Wang Hao or Zhang Zhike.
Had he played in the early 00's he would have had a career trajectory similar to Chen Qi a player who had an even bigger forehand but didn't achieve much.
@@dickn.ormous1064 samsonov's success against ma long was all during the early part of ma long's career. Samsonov's last win against ma long was probably in 2009. And from my memory, except for the 2017 world cup, timo boll never beat ma long since 2010 wtttc.
No serious competition? Are you joking? When ma long plays a world tour, he is usually accompanied by members of the chinese top6 like fan zhendong, xu xin, zhang jike. If that's not serious competition, I don't know what is.
I have been searching for this game for a long time. I am so impressed by Tokic!

I look at this and I wonder why Tokic has never become a top 20 Player, or European champion. Outstanding match, and he could easily have won it.
He was in the zone during that match!
He`s a great player, probably one of the best of all time and gave Ma Long a decent challenge.
But look at his attitude during this match, his lack of composure probably caused a whole barrage of consequences
He is the first one who could beat ma long if he has another chance. He was even more fearless than Ma long in this game ! Fantastic ! I never saw another attacker could really do damage to Ma Long before. This was 2011. I don't see him any more ever since. could he be at a bar drinking to death and pitied himself in 2016 ? WHAT A MATCH
i have to watch it again
Truly Bojan Tokic is a great competitor to Ma Long apart from other Chinese players like Fan Zhendong, Zhang Jike or Xu Xin. The reason I personally like to watch Bojan play with Ma Long is that Bojan always doesnt plays short, he also plays long shots and I like his backhand shots too. I am a little bit disappointed with the second set, when he just lost a set due to service error :(
But finally, MaLong wins the sixth Game .... and is unbeatable.
Best match from this WTTC, you must admit that!

@GenyaArikado no they're developed. take a kinesiology related class and you will find out. and smaller people are usually able to move faster, but now it is not the case due to training methods.

@GenyaArikado In a book, Bruce Lee said he wasn't the fastest before among his peers, but with training he achieved the highest level. he was about 170cm and weighed 165 at one time through his bodybuilding training. chuck norris was a little taller than him. they looked about the same height in movies because norris's fighting stance is lower.
