I feel like the PCI sensitivity is high this year, idk I wish there was a setting for it.
this is a big gripe of mine. The sensitivity is super high. You tap the stick and the PCI ends up way out of zone. Its worse because the zone is extended at the top and bottom so the PCI goes much farther there causing a lot of pop ups and choppers, and of course the dreaded whiffs.

Thank you dude that was a nice reset after being in a hitting slump. I find myself really wanting to just destroy the baseball too much. I gotta be more patient and defensive in the box.
definitely my problem for sure. just TOO aggressive and wanting to put the ball out in the stands when i should just look to make contact or get on base by any means.

I promise you not i was the same exact way just watched this last night. I would normally only get 1 run on a lucky swing and that was it, i played like 3-4 games after watching and literally put up like 5+ runs in each

Thanks for the awesome tips. I'm having trouble with discipline; I swing at balls way out of the strike zone, and when I focus on discipline, I can't keep up with timing. Any tips?
This is what fixed that for me when i was new : watch your pitchers hand when he throws the ball. Before the rest of your at bats put your PCI on his hand before the pitch. It’ll help you track the ball way before it goes over the plate. Helped me a lot. Kinda made it up my self.

What about guessing pitches? I like to play in Road To The Show and I am a right handed batter. If I up against a right handed batter I guess 4 seam fastball down and away which is the primary pitch for most pitchers. If they are left handed then I guess 4 seam fastball down and in. I feel that this helps me but you have to swing at strikes and get good swing timing.
I used to be in Dynamic difficulty and it was at Legend + and that was too hard for my guy who did not have that great of an overall rating. Now I use Hall of Fame difficulty and I feel the lower difficulty the pitchers throw all strikes and the pitches are slower so it is easier to get good or perfect timing. I get walked a lot in Hall of Fame difficulty and I also strike out a lot.

Another thing is to check the opponents pitcher stats ,they tend to throw the same ball most of the time in a game and always guess pitch up fastball then use the pci to go down ,left or right, and if the controller vibrates and screen turns a little red you know the pitch is gonna be high and you could act accordingly
do you think it’s easier to start your pci placement low because of your thumb placement on the stick? if it’s on the bottom it’s easy to just push up quick when your thumb is already set to push

I like to anchor on the top corner opposite pitching hand then I float the pci where the ball comes out and try to follow the ball
do you have any extra tips about being able to recognize pitches out of the hand? im struggling mightily to see the difference between the off speed, breaking ball, and fastball
Move the camera to where the pitcher's release point is in the center of the strike zone. I use retro and center up the pitcher.
It is so hard for me to pick up the ball out of the hand it’s like my eyes just trip out and I loose it.

Not gonna lie sometimes I've been golfing.
Personally I prefer analog hitting so I don't need to worry about PCI.
It feels more fluid & gives me more control at the plate. But that's me...
personally i say don’t use pci anchor i feel it makes moving the pci much slower

I leave the PCI in the middle and sit fastball or anything else that comes over the middle of the plate. I feel that I could become a better hitter but moving my PCI around makes me a more undisciplined hitter who instead working the count and is chasing. Is PCI exclusively middle plate unusual ? I’ve thought about anchoring hot zones for my lower powered contact hitters. Asking anyone. ( YANKEES. DEFAULT HOF HITTING AND PITCHING ) ⚾️⚾️⚾️

For me it finds annoying when you aboutnto hit it but your player only checked the ball even though I locate his pitches. Any tips about that?
Why does my game switch from DH to picture during a season I lose the DH and I end up having to bat the pitchet even though it's been preset to DH
it’s be suck to hit well. it it takes a whole second for my the pci to move when i move my controller

Power you get homers with people who don’t often. Normal I tend to hit homers with people who can more often than power it’s weird . Contact I have hit homers but it’s best just to get on base . A tip some people use is power normal contact

How do i stop checking swinging so much
I get the strike zone camera view is part of the game but man it feels super cheap. Like of course you can hit when all you can see is the strike zone, kind of Bush league in my opinion. Then again I like to see and feel the whole game. The distance makes it feel more difficult and realistic. Batters don't have an eyeball at crotch level to see the ball better, there is distance between their eyes and the zone. Anyways, I'm sure I'll get trashed for this, don't really care.

Go play on legend in strike zone and see if you’re good buddy. If it was so easy you’d be a top player but you aren’t.

I don't use none of this I still win Im good at online but I think it's unrealistic just like Madden I've won 6 straight world series with the braves in my online franchise and 8 in offline franchise on the hardest difficulty

Played this briefly at launch. Unbelievably trashy pay 2 win garbage with 0 respect for your time or wallet. Gonna have to start over next year...with the same game. Tragic what sports game fans are forced to put up with.

DD is the only real P2W mode among a multitude of solid modes you can play and don't have to p2w....he'll even just ranked online you can't just buy better stats
