JEE advance is an Exam of Eliminations. It tests how fast you can recognize certain patterns,you have to memorise bunch of crap and grind the hell out in a coaching center. Little do you know,engineering is actually quite the opposite,it's about analysis, Research temperament (not all iitian has Research temper,otherwise they wouldn't be a candidate of UPSc😂 or be a damn Coder despite being in different streams) The main difference between people who go for MIT and IIT : People go to IIT for that golden 1cr job (typical middle class indian job security nonsense). People go to MIT for actual research not for some quick cash grab. Nonetheless the grind for iit sure helps, but you have to basically "Unlearn" all that jee advance nonsense to actually go forward in IIT semester curriculum. The assignments,projects and Sem exams are all challenging in iit,it requires team work,analysis and it force you to think outside of box,those who still stays with Jee advance mentality generally get FR grades in Semester. Nonetheless,the exposure,the hype,the research fund,the prof sure helps churning out Patents and research outputs from IIT and guess what?? Bro jee advanced is the 2nd hardest exam in the world in a single round with 2 papers, if you don't consider UPSC ( bcz it has many rounds) ............. MITians are just studying at the most premium institute of the world but that doesn't make them more brilliant than jee advanced qualifiers..... JEE advance is an Exam of Eliminations. It tests how fast you can recognize certain patterns,you have to memorise bunch of crap and grind the hell out in a coaching center.
Little do you know,engineering is actually quite the opposite,it's about analysis, Research temperament (not all iitian has Research temper,otherwise they wouldn't be a candidate of UPSc😂 or be a damn Coder despite being in different streams)
The main difference between people who go for MIT and IIT : People go to IIT for that golden 1cr job (typical middle class indian job security nonsense). People go to MIT for actual research not for some quick cash grab.
Nonetheless the grind for iit sure helps, but you have to basically "Unlearn" all that jee advance nonsense to actually go forward in IIT semester curriculum. The assignments,projects and Sem exams are all challenging in iit,it requires team work,analysis and it force you to think outside of box,those who still stays with Jee advance mentality generally get FR grades in Semester.
Nonetheless,the exposure,the hype,the research fund,the prof sure helps churning out Patents and research outputs from IIT and guess what?? Btech students has Zero absolute Zero credibility in IIT research output. That my friend is the Reality. You see all those mtech,Phd,post doc people grinding in Lab in iit? They are the one who's actually making for what IIT really is at the same time jee advance fellas are just happy with a 50lpa coding job even with a mechanical engineering degree and THIS IS THE REASON why MIT will always outclass iit. The research attitude and tenacity for innovation is more important than grind and talent
