On the topic of steel (or even wood) doors. Check the hinged and lock edge of the doors, look for labels that indicate they are fire rated doors and possibly dates. If possible look for interior fill inside hinge screw holes, lock set openings , etc. if you see white chalky or grayish material and the doors are 70-ish vintage or older, they are possibly asbestos filled. I have seen both wood and steel, asbestos filled doors, from those time frames.

One of those big wood spools is a good starter bachelor pad table. A couple of the smaller ones can be couple be end tables
I would have taken the spool. Those things sell like hotcakes in my area. Especially the larger ones. Great haul Mike!

Hi Mike, The yellow tubing you were talking about is gas tubing. And the inside is stanless steel. When you find some. remove the yellow plastic to get maximum $$$...

looked up the gold eye brow pencil online its still going for $4.50 you hit a gold mine in that dumpster those are new sell that in lots on ebay or on the market place don't waste your time nickle and dime at the yard sale. you can get rid of it fast.

Alright Alright Mike, I read about power cycling TV’s and monitors the other day and thought of you. Sometimes if they seem not to be working and you do this they come back to life. It’s along the lines of unplugging all the wires and holding down the power button for 10 seconds. Google it. Xx

yup, that's a pot hanger. i've installed a couple doing kitchen remods. chili powder is where they get the capsicum they put in cs tear gas. add it to an oil based carrier, and burn it slowly, the fire is still in the smoke. ninjas used to put it in empty egg shells for the same effect. steel doors make good work tables if you put folding legs on them. i've got a couple i made to take to the job site.

All that chili powder .... would have made my mouth happy for years. Mrs Scavenger will never have to buy eyeliner again! It's not the high end stuff, but usable. Some of the NYX might be lip liner. I'd have bagged the hair dye too; with the Quarantine and nobody getting into the hair salon, temporary dye would be a big seller.

remote controllers are sold in ebay, you can test them easily with your mobile camera, just point the remote to the camera and hit the keys, you'll see aviolet light every key you press in your phone screen, your phone camera can see the light and will show you. Next time you see a remote consider it ;-)

I think that HDMI audio extractor is for connecting a stereo receiver or amp to a DVD or Blu-ray player which lacks analog audio outputs.
Yeah SACDs can be played by blu ray players and if you amp does not have HDMI or optical that box is the answer.
