yh i had the same problem, only 2 things missing... the arms... if sombody knows where to get those arms that ar connected to the rood would be verry greatfull !

I also have a convertible 92 e30 and the entire system for the roof motor is disassembled, going to be a pain to try to fix
If they didn’t change all of the adjustments it shouldn’t be too bad being that there’s one motor

Yes I did, you can order new leathers from Lseat.com and install them
It’s not that hard once you get the hang of it

I've never seen them go bad but that doesn't mean they don't. might be one of those parts that are only available used.
