Wow, the implications of this idea are greater than I though, especially in my life right now. This is enlightening. It applies to youtube, the gym, drawing, music, studying, work, honestly everything. Thanks for this man
I make videos to make videos, I do it has a hobby. I know many that try and do it as a job, but always fail. UA-cam started with the tagline “broadcast yourself” not “show a fake version of yourself”.
This was way better of a message than I expected, I thought it was just gonna be some tips but it’s way better and expands on a message that you can apply to anything. I haven’t even started on any videos and yet I’m scared it’ll be a waste. I like your character btw it’s very expressive and straightforward!
okay inspirational speech i see you!! this lowkey motivated me to do something new and stop running that 100m dash o7 also you being a band kid that played trumpet makes so much sense as a fellow band kid myself i knew i recognized my kind LMAOO
Bro I loved this video I’m around the same channel size as you and I been Consistent for like around a year almost so everything you said I really feel and I get and I’m right there. Keep up the great working content love the video.
damn, you hit the nail on the head man. you're hella wise, encapsulating my experience so concisely. i've gotten 1k subs in the last month, and im at 2.7k now, hope to see you at the top with me.
i clicked on this thinking it'd be some multi level marketing scheme thing, or someone just yapping for 6 minutes, but this was genuinely really good. the first analogy was good, and i thought the second would just the same thing repeated, but i have never heard such a good analogy. i genuinely love how it goes BEYOND content creation, and ain't as sappy and overdone like every other motivational type speech today. you got a lot of potential bro, and i know you can run more than just the 5 miles 🙏🙏🙏
I don't know if this will help but this is what I did (and am still doing cause I kinda fell off) -look for a popping video in a niche you like (within a week of being posted) -make that video but a different subject -KEEP POSTING (very important) -once you get into the algorithm you can't get tired this might help but good luck guys cause its mainly just getting lucky and posting at the right time.
I remember the first time I made an actual video I was really proud of. I did a lot of videos before but I knew it wasn't my goal. Finally I went the mile and put in the work. It didn't pop off but I'm proud I did it
my type of videos take long to make in the first place, so I'll just keep trying my best at it. I'm not gonna upload like a factory belt. Thanks for the encouragement.
This video is better than 99% of the shity videos on how to become better and successful in general and that proves me one more time that people who hit big numbers on youtube are just very good to sell you ideas not necesarly good with providing good advice. I should keep coming to your video every week and I really like the analogy with the 5 mile run. I feel like every day I run 100-200 metters, but i never train for the 5 miles so I will stretch myself a bit more.
0:55 nah wtf was that clip 😢😢 nah real tho, I've been dodging burnout by stopping the pressure to post shortform daily and leaning towards a slightly more qual > quan balance. W metaphors too
I’m so glad I found you now instead of when u have Like 1m subs like will I feel like u really know me yk so I decided to get your pfp tatted on my face love u
Never knew it like that like my channel has gained subs, but for me it feels like views are low, I am still happy to upload videos and my goal is to hit 10,000 subs!!!
That’s a fair question. Actually, a lot of those were my more successful videos, which is why it was a tough decision when I decided to unlist them. However, the reason why they were unlisted is because they’re a different style of video than what I do now. Back then I was more into creating gaming-related video essays. But eventually, even though I was getting views on this content, I wanted to switch my focus to the more funny, commentary focused, style of videos I do now. So in order to streamline the channel and give my content a more uniformed approach, I unlisted the videos. In the future I do plan to make them available for anyone that wants to watch them through things like discord or something. Idk, I’ll have to think about it. Maybe I’ll talk more about this in an another video in the future. Anyway, hope that answers your question! 👍🏽
@@suburbanwill1 Damn, the small channel experience where the author actually answers to comments. And reads them. That ain't gonna last if you blow up more. But yeah, that answers it. Thanks for responding.

I agree with a lot of these comments, such an underrated UA-cam. I can easily see this channel becoming popular. Also I enjoy your narrative.

Quality over quantity is what most should be aspiring to do. Even if it takes months between uploads. This was great. 👍
