"Carlin is a freshman at Nebraska Wesleyan University." ...she's a FRESHMAN?!?! ...wow, can that young woman speak. Great message and already a very skilled speaker. Remember her name. She is destined for greatness!
SO proud of Carlin, who I luckily got to call my Senior Counselor at Girls Nation! She is an amazing woman, believe me. And her message is so true, exactly what I needed.
I'm wondering if "more" participation as a plus for college admissions still holds true? Carlin's thoughts here certainly make meaning for questioning value.
good, you have the potential, next time be simple and direct. I learned it from somewhere that "scientist can create a complicated theory but it's the job of communicator to make it simple."
Hey comments section people since you have also clicked here. you probably are kinda productive please help me with it suggests some video, book, article?
i really wanted to like this 'speech', but while enamoured with the meter of her prose, i found the message fell flat, smothered with partial cliches and dangling simile's that only revealed she spent too much time memorizing the words, and too little time thinking about whether they made salient points. A succinct message on how to be efficient vs busy, productive vs proliferate would have made a lot more sense. In a phrase, this speech was 'too' busy.
Disjointed thoughts, jumbled together, could not follow. A formalized way of finishing a series of sentences, distracting. I kept thinking 'what did those 2-3 things strung into a sentence have to do with each other?' Ms. Daharsh mentioned people being known for one great thing, okay, but a moment later she said 'no one is just a mom, just a this, just a that...'
A lot of people are judging her for being "cliche" but I found her words comforting and exactly what I needed

RIGHT!!???!!
30% sure?
I like her speaking style. She is sooo talented.
Carlin, good message passionately delivered. Keep seeking to reach more "ordinary" people who REALLY need to hear this.
This push me... I'm trying to do change NOW! Thanks Carlin
That hit the spot. Going to spend some time with my daughter :-)
"DIE WITH MEMORIES, Not Dreams"
Sounds like a good title for a death metal song

Jesus. Typical chick talk. Spoke for 10 minutes, not really made any point.
No. The content density is non existent. I could say the same in 20 seconds.
"chick talk"? this talk really is no good, but have you heard the other women on this channel?
look up the talk about sexism.

So her big dream is to be a busy-body? i.e. "be a catalyst for change in her district". Please go back to sports and leave us alone.
