If marie fredriksson had been produced and marketed by Americans. She would have arguably been a megastar and perhaps the greatest singer of her generation. But instead she stayed true to herself and her upbringing and stuck with her native roots and Swedish musicians, her career never hit the heights she so could have easily achieved, even though for a short period of time Roxette were the biggest duo/group on the planet. She stayed humble and true, a wonderful singer and performer. She is sadly missed but her legacy lives on.
