@@edisonabejuela7232 I'm not sure if you can use the old hedge trimmer. The Multi-Head system uses a shaft drive to power its attachments, like the extension pole and hedge trimmer. Hope this isn't too confusing.
Can you please tell me exactly how long the tool is without any attachments? I need to be able to fit it in my truck tool box. The information is not on the ego site. Thanks Dan
Hi R Conn, here is the link to our website, unfortunately we don't ship to the USA at this current time. www.hayesmachinery.co.uk/shop/new-garden-machinery/cordless-battery-products/ego-ppx1000-professional-x-telescopic-pole/
Hi James, thanks for the video. I'm in the market for a multi-tool and considering the EGO, quick question - are you able to attach the line strimmer attachment to this model? Thanks
I would prefer the old one. The trigger is better for long time use, you can extend it unlimited and you don't have to lift the heavy engine at the top
UK is more Green minded; England bans gas blowers etc. Ego didn’t ship many products to USA this yr - no explaining. USA not ban gas machines; my silly city rewards all deafening gas garden machines over any quiet electric.
@@l.e.6263 There are no plans to ban any petrol/gas blowers in the UK. I believe California are planning to ban the sale of small gasoline engines from 2023?
Thank you for the most detailed explanation of the Pole Saw and Hedge Trimmer.
I have the old evo hedge trimmer , can I use this telescopic pole to my older model?

I just bought this today after watching this great bit of kit
Awesome video as always! Looking to add a multi tool to my ego lawnmower I purchased from yourselves last year.
Awesome thank you Jordan. Give us a shout when you leave ready 👍🏼
Good video James looks very light to use and i see someone has a nice fire going on behind you at the end of the video
I had to just watch that to see what you meant 😂 it’s steam from a local factory. It is a nice machine to use 🤩
It's sadly kinda heavy to use. Specially compared with the multitool.
Hello, is the pole pruner part the same as with the multi tool kit? Thus hoping just plugs in to the extension pole!
No it is different I’m afraid.
Also really love your videos you do a great job of explaining everything?
Thank you Seb 👍🏼
This machine looks brilliant recommend this to anybody is ego was the best
Thanks Robert 👍🏼

That was a detailed and Excellent EGO Review and Demonstration... Thank You 👍👍👍✌
Great video mate as always
Thanks matey 😎
Mate, anyway you can ship this kit to USA? Or give a link? Appreciate it!

Fantastic video James
Thank you Henry 👍🏼
What is the run times with a 5.0ah battery on the telescopic. Model with the hedger and saw
Thanks
Nice demo. How long does battery last when trimming such trees?
It would be based on trigger time but even from the 2.5ah battery you would get a good 40-60mins I recon depending on what your cutting.
Hi James, thanks for the video. I'm in the market for a multi-tool and considering the EGO, quick question - are you able to attach the line strimmer attachment to this model? Thanks
Hi Benedict, thank you for your message. No you can’t attached a Strimmer attachment to this model but you can for one to the standard multitool 👍🏼
I would buy this right now, but I can't find it anywhere in the U.S.A.
Come and live in the U.K. and we can supply you haha 😂
@@MachineryNation do you ship to north america.

Do you mean the mulit tool? I have that and considering this one.
@@dmythica I tried this model in the shop and it’s quite cumbersome to wield about. I ended up buying 2 carbon extension poles for the multi-tool.
@@cseanny oh cool, thanks for the info. I just got a carbon extension for my multi tool in the end too!
@@cseanny does it work with TWO extensions on it?
@@rconn4501 yes, it works perfectly, very smooth with hardly any flex. I’m glad I didn’t fork-out for the extending tool.
Great video great product nice shown and explained well done sir
Thank you Jay, we appreciate it 👍🏼
Anyone know if this is available in USA? Ego says not listed when I called.
Not sure when the US are receiving stock a lot of people over there are requesting it 👍🏼

Isn't it super heavy?
It’s got a weight to it for sure, but anything commercial generally does.
great video
Thanks mate 👍🏼
This machine isn't lightweight at all. For some big jobs it can be handy. But with using it all day, better get the multi tool.
OH No this looks like it has the same system as Stihls DODGY mutli tool system that everyone is having lots of problems with
It Telescopes .cool
Thanks Scuba 🤩
