It's definitely not at all the reason but I'm sure it's nice to think you're actually intelligent for a second. There's about a dozen or more other factors of why insurance companies will not insure certain cars in the state, And 100% of them have to do with the fact that the vehicles themselves are easy to break into and start without high Tech manipulation of the mechanism such as with something like this. And if you didn't notice this is for a high security lock not a simple car key Or car Ignition. >< There are dozens of ways to get a car access and start the Ignition without the key or any key at all. The state of Louisiana likely has a high percentage of Car theft which happens to be mostly in a certain few brands of vehicles that have the highest theft rate, so it would be in their interest to not insure such brands. The only way to solve that is to actually Arrest and deal with criminals but they don't like doing that in the United States these days very much since criminals AKA a certain race that I'm not supposed to mention here directlee is socially protected from actually being Held responsible for the crimes they commit. You know exactly what I'm saying. It doesn't matter what kind of crime you commit what's more important is what color your skin is in the United States.
It's more a case of car insurance being very dear in that area. You can insure everything, but for some brands, the cost of insurance may exceed the value of the vehicle. Those brands of very high insurance costs are the ones which used to be delivered without immobilizer, Kia being an example.
Made me think of the old Dane Cook joke about breaking and entering. He didn't want to go in and steal anything. He realized that he just liked kicking in the door and leaving. Years later, some home owner is still walking around their house saying, "What the hell did they take!!!!!"

Garage doors are so easy to break into. First off I'm no thief I don't do this on the regular but you should definitely lock the house door inside the garage if you are dependent solely of the automatic garage door opener. Usually you can make a gap in the top panel of the garage door. From now you just use a coat hanger and pulling the string and release the door emergency mode and then just simply lift up on the door and you're in the house. Or pull the pin from the top it's supposed to be a cotter pin bent both ways no one ever changes it out.

Locks are and always have been for honest people. You lock your door next to two boards of drywall. If they wanted to get in, they would. Edit to those who don’t get my comment: Actually read the last sentence before replying.
I’m pretty sure most cat thieves can’t just phase through solid walls. They’d need heavy equipment to get through, which would defeat the point of a quiet robbery.
This is why alarm systems are worth it. Locks are obviously not locking anything but the alarm going off will at least let you know your shootable target has entered the house. Also you can get lockless door locks that are only opened by let’s say a Bluetooth feature or a code. Most people can buy these but most people won’t have a code breaker or Bluetooth bypass device.

I mean that's cool except for that only works on one kind of dimple keyway. You're going to need a specific one for every manufacturer. Super cool but right now picking is probably a better option.
Each decoder is about $350. The real question is what lock do would you use to protect these tools???
Stuff like this is why insurance companies won't insure some car brands in Louisiana

Shooo yo riggghhhh
It's more a case of car insurance being very dear in that area. You can insure everything, but for some brands, the cost of insurance may exceed the value of the vehicle.
Those brands of very high insurance costs are the ones which used to be delivered without immobilizer, Kia being an example.
Made me think of the old Dane Cook joke about breaking and entering. He didn't want to go in and steal anything. He realized that he just liked kicking in the door and leaving.
Years later, some home owner is still walking around their house saying, "What the hell did they take!!!!!"

The only purpose for a lock on a door is to give the property owner proper notice and time enough to get his faithful companion.

Stuff like this should be kept secret with only registered engineers
this is the future of lockpicking no doubt. give it 5-10 years tops and it will read the impressions like it’s a grocery store barcode
I just have a dummy lock on my front door; I double- bolt it from inside and go in and out through the garage, which has an electric key.
I hope you have the garage shield on the garage door. That’s easier to get into then the house door or window.
Flipper Zero has entered the chat
love the dummy lock idea but most crim will not go for the front door regardless.

Thieves don’t pick locks, genius. Thieves break windows and kick in doors.
@@Glmorrs1 yes they do dumbass
@@Glmorrs1 there is more than one type of thief. While a professional thief is way less rare than someone who will actually pick a lock there are some who will take the extra time. But they'll be in and out while you're off with your secretary or something before you even know they're there.
@@MrYotosun its called stealth mode🤪 and you don't need to rush really if you know what you do
Not only are they expensive, but there is a different one for every specific lock cylinder, 40 plus!

20 seconds sounds like plenty of time to run upstairs and come back with something you're not going to like. 🙈
Please don’t say it’s expensive and then not mention the price, if the viewers are interested in your videos then they will also want to know the cost.
Yeah, what HE said!
I googled it. It's $708 American but priced as 26,000 UAH. I had to convert it through Google as well 👍
I saw on their website that it's priced at €340 so the conversion is around $368 USD.
Add some kind of oscillating tool to the back of that lock pick... It will vibrate and probably turn the key out 100 times faster.
There are 46 versions of this lockpick for the various types of locks out there of this sort. Each lockpick comes in at around 300-450 Euros. So, unless you have money to burn and are an expert in figuring out what brand each lock is by looking at them, this is pretty much only for experts to use.
now we need a tool that does yhe same for standard pin tumblers

Pretty soon this will be on temu. Fully register that.
@genezhep8647 correct. Only a couple hundred smart burglars that use tools like these. The rest just use a brick, prybar, or battery drill. For newer cars, a tennis ball.
@@genezhep8647 i dont think it would work in general, and all locks are more like deterrants anyway. If someone actually plans ahead they will get through the locks. Locks really only stop opportunistic random criminal or just slows them down bit if they are prepared. I just went to the website, there are 30 different models for different locks, they are all different priced from 310 to 410 a piece. Good luck!!!
Good lock.
You have to buy like 10 of these to cover all locks at $550 dollars a piece.
Oh snap! Ya mean it doesn’t come with replacement warding parts? Ya literally have to buy each one with different warding? How feckin retarded. Man they see stupid people( locksmiths at that??🤔) will really buy multiple of same tool, with a part(warding piece, that’s removable) that should be replaceable or changeable. The only way to prevent someone entering your home is to persuade them from entering your home.
Pro tip..before you go out fill the lock with super glue...now the lock pick wont work....on another note there's a good chance when you get home you will have to kick your door in
Locks are and always have been for honest people.
You lock your door next to two boards of drywall. If they wanted to get in, they would.

If you live in an appartment building it's really useful.
Ummm i dont think you understand how a house works or a building or any building 🤔
I’m pretty sure most cat thieves can’t just phase through solid walls. They’d need heavy equipment to get through, which would defeat the point of a quiet robbery.
Drywalls?
You mean brick walls?
Jokes on you. My house is fully brick
Locks keep honest people honest, and
guns confiscate the animation from criminals.
Guns are more likely to shoot people who live in the house than anyone else.
News FLASH everyone ! Thieves Don't Need to come in Through your Door !!
@@nicklaterza5595 We know that
This is why alarm systems are worth it.
Considering how low security most locks are, its probably just faster to get a rake and a comb.
