This man faced an 8 man box all year and still put up all pro numbers. HOF for sure.
He is really a scatback in a DE's body, he knows how to juke and is one of the fastest players on the field, along with the stiffarms. He really plays smart.

Perfect assessment. During his first two seasons here when he somewhat disappointed. A lot of the frustration folks around here had with his is that he he wasn’t a bruising runner and wanted to bounce everything to the outside. He’s become more physical over the years. Buts he’s still very much a 250lb scat back.

Imagine if they had a passing game. Would open up so many more windows for this beast. Henry is basically the team atm. Once they get that passing game the Titans are a playoff team for sure. The only problem is they have a time limit considering how fleeting a running backs career is and briefer still is the time they are at their prime.
Henry didn't have as many break away TD's because the Titans had nothing. Teams played to stop Henry. This team needs so much.

@@zextii_ he’s very much a volume guy, and isn’t that valuable in the flat. Buuut the bills can be very run heavy if needed. It sure would help Josh from forcing passes in every long yardage situation.
9 months later, though, the king belongs in a place that needs a to fulfill their identity. That team should be a team like the ravens, who didn’t trade since they have ample options in the running game, and the browns, who will likely have Hunt and Chubb next season barring any complications, and possibly.
Best pure running back of this generation. He's a couple of strong Pro Bowl seasons away from being a first ballot Hall of Famer.
I wouldn't put it past d Henry to be this good for another 3 to 5 years.
I think he's already a lock for the HoF.

Bro was the entire offense. Titans had no QB or WR play, the worst offensive line in the nfl and had injuries all over the place and he still racked up over 1500yards… Best RB in the league hands down.

He’s def slowing down but gracefully and still super strong and explosive. He’s getting smarter so makes up for anything he’s loosing athletically
@@de5913 I haven’t seen any sign of him slowing down I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about, granted I only got to watch him play about 8-9 full games this year, not sure how much you got to see him this year but he bounced back tremendously from the foot injury he just hasn’t been in the mainstream media as much cause the titans aren’t an exciting team so he hasn’t gotten as much attention as 2 years ago

i love watching this man play, it’s insane how good he is. although i absolutely hate having him in the same division as my jags. him, along with mahomes are the only two players in the league that i fear when the jags play against them
How many years does he have left as a top 5 back? He just turned 29 and hasn't lost a single step and his first 2 years in the league he barely touched the ball compared to his work horse the numbers the past 4 years, mixed in with missing half of 2021 so he might have less miles on him then people realize. He's gonna play at a high level got another 2-3 years minimum

Derrick Henry is an absolute BEAST and there is no question abt it, and I’m a chiefs fan.
Coming here as an Eagles fan since there are rumors swirling around today as a possible trade. Came to see what he has in the tank and one thing I notice is that he has more vision/wiggle/elusiveness than I had previously noticed. He really has the RB instincts. Looks a tad bit less explosive/powerful than he once was, but that doesn't because the instincts are more important.
Titans fan here. He certainly not is heavier and didn’t break long runs like he used too. Idk if it’s defenses playing him different but he also doesn’t trust his foot after injury. Doesn’t plant as hard

I didn’t realize if you just get the ball in the end zone with your hands that it’s in.
He moves well side to side and can run over people, but gets caught from behind a lot.
He outruns DBs, LBs, and Safeties all the time though.

Just imagine you’re a corner back and your guarding the receiver, he stops and u look into the backfield and you just see this monster of a man bounce out your way, the receiver doesn’t even try to block you because Henry has it covered 😂you hope he does so you don’t have to try to tackle him but he just looks at you and smiles, then Henry just starts stampeding your way 😂😂
