That's my Quarterback. Played the Game of his life. And no, he doesn't get blame for that fumble, Defense refused to show up for the entirety of the game. And no, the refs didn't cheat us, our defense couldn't stop anything. Helluva Game. I believed in him always and always will. Go Birds.

That was the "I'm hellbent on getting the Titans GM fired" throw. Look at the routes: that play was designed for DeVonta Smith (he was wide open), but Hurts decided to throw to AJ Brown despite AJ being blanketed.

I think he still ended on a great note, tbh. The game came down to a field goal due to them knowing he could easily drive the ball down the field again, if they didn't burn the clock and take the kick. That's pretty crazy to be able to do against the other best team to make it to the bowl.

@@neetrab i think just a similar playcalling scheme is fine. Staying aggressive and running Jalen when needed. If we maintain a solid o-line, the offense will remain unstoppable. Jalen will only get better, which is insane to think about
@@neetrab honestly I'm not too worried about Steichen, because Philly will probably promote Brian Johnson to OC, and a lot of sources have said all year that he's more responsible for Hurts' success than anyone, besides Jalen himself obviously. We shall see if Brian can call plays, I believe he can though, he's known around the league as the "hottest" non coordinator rn, people predict he'll become a HC eventually.

Ya he’s a beast but more comparable to Josh Allen. A great passer that can run too. Not like Lamar who is run first and throws when he needs to.

But I agree with you Lamar is a great qb who gets disrespected a lot for being an mvp and having one of the highest win pct of any qb in the nfl since he started, and when he started with Baltimore they were 4-6

Yep anybody who didnt watch him this year doesnt realize he became a legit great passer this year. He was statistically the best deep ball thrower and pocket passer in NFL.
Other than 2017, this season has been an incredibly amazing moment for BIRDS fans!!! This team has set and broken SO many franchise and NFL records!!! IT was awesome to watch!!!!
As a lifetime Eagle fan I am happy to say I was DEAD wrong about this kid. Its been a real pleasure watching him grow and become the leader he has become. Cant wait to see what hes got for us in the coming years.
Alot of people have doubted jalen. And alot of people have been proven wrong by him and I would know because I'm one of them. I'm a die hard bama fan and when tua cane on the seen I was all for him taking over. I didn't think jalen had the arm talent to carry us. Jalen was loyal and didn't transfer out the next year and sat behind tua and just perfected his craft. We were down in the sec championship game that year and tua got hurt and I thought we were done when jalen came in the game. Jalen came in and lit georgia up with dime after dime passes and put the team on his back and brought us back to win the game. Ive never been so wrong about a player in all my life. He's a stud of a player and he's a loyal, real, down to earth, and just solid human being. Philly is so fortunate to have this guy.
Greatest season any QB has ever had in Philadelphia Eagles history. I understand some may want to point out seasons guys like Carson Wentz, Randall Cunningham, Nick Foles, Donovan McNabb, etc have had. And I get it. Some of them may have had more impressive stats. But as a third-generation Eagles season ticket holder who has been to all but 7 home games since 1986, there has never been an Eagles QB who did what Jalen did this year. The consistency. The unceasing desire to improve. The work ethic. The leadership. The off the charts football IQ. The humility. The clutch Super Bowl performance..
He is truly unmatched. I feel truly lucky and privileged to watch him play for our city.

He made such a huge leap in his second full season and you can't fault him for losing the SB when the defense couldn't force a single punt or turnover after halftime.

I knew from the first game I saw him play at Bama... that calm demeanor was going to help him go places... here he is... kicking ass and he'll only take more names as his career progresses.

He didn’t outplay mahomes. I wanna see hurts with an ankle injury and playing without commiting any turn overs. Mahomes legit did that and won the superbowl. How does the best pass defense legit lose to a crippled mahomes? How does a team with 78 sacks can’t even sack mahomes once?
Go watch the D line slip on almost every play. No excuses, but that field was terrible for the pass rush. The non ability to rush mahomes exposed the secondary also. Hurts had an amazing game btw, 300 passing for a td and 70 rushing for 3 tds is unheard of by a QB in the SB. Congrats to the Chiefs though, it was a good ass game
